- Mons (Mons Art Stage), Genoese sound performer, DJ and remixer of Argentine and Greek origins has been working for years in the research for the interaction between electronic music and communication through the spoken word.
Conductor and creator of radio broadcasts and soundtracks for TV, artistic animator and graphic designer, Mons Art Stage gallery owner. He strongly believes in blending education and beauty as elements of emancipation and progress of the human being.
The Merry-Go-Round project is a work in progress, inspired by Dutch-writer-photographer Gisella du Mée.
The creative team, led by Mons DJ, with narration from Julian Lennon, and Sandrina B. Rubelli (Italian designer and intellectual cultural figure) assembles a selected melange of the written word and universal poetry, blended on occasion, with Julian's lyrics, backed-up by a musical score, a soundtrack designed specifically for each theme.
It is a multidisciplinary conceptual work capable of stimulating the listeners’ curiosity and pleasure between sound and word in a positive collision of classical and experimental genres at the same time.

For me, this is a commentary on
the brevity, and complexity of life...
relationships, memories, longings, losses, human experience and interaction , physical wonders of being alive, (we are fearfully and wonderfully made..from.the bible...)

Imagine being as strong as a gymnast. My grandma used to do this sort of gymnastics. She was very good at it, even trained for the Olympics until she became pregnant in 1952. It amazes me to consider the arm strength necessary. Thanks for sharing MGR

This is wonderful! And, it is such a fantastic mix of empowering verse and visuals. I didn't know what to expect from Mons description but I am so glad that I was able to watch it this morning (and am still watching it. I love Robert Frost so, that says it all on the poetry front. Just like your music Julian, Frost's poems are laced with metaphor and alliteration. You picked well. The Rose Family is perhaps my second favourite poem by him and Mons you kept the theme of real/lasting beauty and genuiness going with the screens...e che no sempre. Thanks for keeping it real Julian, Mons and Sandrina...in music, visual presentation and word. Beautiful!

Hpw should I know if my life was wanted or well spent?
There are days I trusge through the waste high muck of lamented sorrows both my own and of others till I am numb from the incurring cold I see set before me on my plate of a feast I never begged invitation to. Other days I drift off as in dream to my imagination showed by clouds and old myths. Then there are the times I run to abandone away from the haunting things that others have filled within my mind till I feel I am free of them for a time. Sometimes/ most times I do nothing at all worth remberimg but I am content. where am I more alive? Where is my life best spent? It is best spent when I hold the keys to the doors I wish to open. Where I am the master of my dresms

What is a yo maybe a hello maybe hey can you come this way or can I go that way to you?
What is a pearl? A bit of wisdom tied up in string sometimes the wisdom is dropped so you have to find where you lost it and mend it back again. Sometimes we skip over the wisdom and life's patters can be very interesting when we do . Other times the wisdom just become tangles of knotted confusion we can choose to let it go work it out or just drop it all. But if we have we put in some effort ACCAPT there will be mistakes and work with or around them then in the end we have a bit of warmth for a summer night spent up in the mountains underneath a sky filled to bursting with luminesant stars.
