- Sim Wong Hoo of Creative Technology tells CNBC's Christine Tan why its Super X-Fi technology is "far more exciting" than the Sound Blaster that brought it to the global stage.
My dog chewed on sound blaster and it is still working and sounding good. That's how durable creative products are. RIP Mr Sim.
You can see the sparkles in his eyes when he is about to showcase the product. Great innovator.
I was the first client of Creative Technology who bought the 1st sound card, it was called CMIDI card (from Vivid Computer at Katong). 🙏🙏🙏
Honestly speaking the products has value and durable. Some of the old speaker and headset I dig out and it still sounds so good. But it has some negative perception after it lost out to apple in Ipod and follow by a few worthless investments. So it has to recreate its market base and keep trying to break the perception and win over the youngster now adays. Recently it has some success so good best luck and keep it up. BTW I just order an Sound Blaster X-FI HD for the work from home period both to listen to music and teleconference using my mother's KTV mic and old headphone. Not going to buy some lousy headset. Hope this will be a all rounder solution to serve multiple purpose.
improve your marketing team Mr Sim.
He is Steve Jobs of Singapore

a note on their durability of their products, my T20 (probably regarded as the world's best 2.0 speaker) lasted for a decade!
Those headsets they are using doesn't looks like creative products but it sure looks good.

Creative DIED many years back. Who needs a sound card when almost every motherboard is built-in with Realtek HD audio?
Because onboard audio is not great vs standalone product...
You will change your statement once you have tried the SXFI.
@@John_Bull_ That is because you havent tried the best when you watch movies/ listen to music and especially play good games. Its a huge difference. There is a reason why audiophile is a thing.
people are still paying good money to eat musang king durian....not any durian...lol
