This might sound strange, but I think there is something so appealing about good journal covers. My own journal (which I write in runic script) was made for me by a commissioned artisan. It is a lovely cover-style, in which I can put new notebooks as I finish the last one, made of vegan leather and monogrammed with my initials. It just feels so good in my hands. The journal, fine paper to write my thoughts on, a good pen, a cup of English breakfast tea, and some medieval lute music softly playing in the background...all of those things make for a deeply satisfying experience. I get the feeling you might understand what that feels like. ❇☕📔🖋💖
