I've been eyeing the Fusion set for a while. But I would consider Keyaki v2 to be a better set for me because the sizes of the hybrid bristle brushes are much better for my use cases. Thanks for the review and comparisons!
Thanks for this video, I loved hearing your thoughts on the set. Especially since you’ve had lots of experience with the first set and other fude. I have the first Keyaki set and I really love it. I keep it in my bag and do a full face after school drop off before work. I ordered the second set at launch but it’s gone on a little journey! It arrived in my home state in Australia on 2nd August and has been stuck there until today. Now I have a tracking update that it’s been sent to a different state 🤷♀️ Beautylish has already kindly refunded me as the package seemed lost and the carrier wasn’t able to give beautylish any info. So, I’ll just see what happens. I’ll give it a bit longer and see if it arrives, otherwise I might reorder it. I would love to see a side by side comparison of the two sets!
Oh no! It’s so sad when packages get lost - I hope it manages to still find its way to you! I think it’s a very nice pairing with the first Keyaki set. I’m looking forward to traveling with both on my next trip. :)

omg i would love to get pretty baby and honeymoon for $19. i gotta stock that website 🤣 this is my first sonia g set and i’m so excited to use it!! that jumbo base is so soft i keep brushing it on my face w/o makeup yet bc it feels so nice, little a little massage 😂😂😂 if she ever re-releases the first set i would consider it too bc of the eyeshadow brushes but i think i can make a lot of beautiful looks from this set too. i agree the shapes are great! that flatter one would be great for cream contour too. would love to see a side by side with the first keyaki set! which of the brushes would be good for gelee cheek products? x and do you have an ipsy referral? i love full-sized deals. i’ve been wanting to try kimchi haha. i hear the highlighters are good.
Glad you’re enjoying the set! I love both sets so much. :) Very impressed with how versatile and soft the jumbo base is. I think the soft cheek should be workable with with gelee products since it’s a natural hair brush - possibly also the jumbo base since it’s so dense. I’ll have to try that out! I got the TF quads from the Cosmetics Company Store. Sadly they don’t sell online, but if you have an outlet near you, it’s worth checking if they have one!

I think both are definitely worth $19. Daydream is my favorite overall. I like Honeymoon, but the burgundy shade is a bit tricky to blend in the crease (the other 3 shades are super blendable in contrast), so I don’t use it a ton.
What do you think of this new set? Do you have favorite travel makeup brushes? :)
i just bring my regular brushes but i pack crazy minimal. it would shock most beauty lovers 😂
