Antenna ON ICE! Unscientific/Fun Experiment by YL Raisa on a frozen lake

Sometimes you want to go beyond the standards and try something new, right? So I decided to experiment with antenna laying right On Ice.
Friends warned me that it would not work and I would not be able to make any QSO with this dipole.
But I tried it anyway and you can see what the result is.
You will see that the half-wave dipole calculated according to the formula, laying on the ice of the lake, showed a resonance much lower in frequency, so I had to reduce it a lot before I could transmit.
