When it comes to the technical sound of Thrash Metal, Megadeth can be said for sure. When it comes to blunt battle hymns, in this case only SLAYER !!! Greetings from Poland

Megadeth, because they have a more evolved melodical sound. Daves solos on this record are beyond belief 🤘🤘🤘

Now, Rust In Peace vs Ride the Lightning - that's one that would leave me undecided.

This is dope bro... I was huge fan of both and even seen these all at Clash of the Titans that year!! MegaDeth had many cool picture discs and clear vinyls and game boards in the 45's and Slayer finally had a video and everything. So, today on shuffle in the truck anything off Season's never get's skipped but the Rust in Peace and Countdown tracks do for some reason. I let Peace Sells or So Far so Good songs play though...

@@hamedalharbi6590 Oh, I definitely had it and listened a lot but it kind of fell off my radar quickly probably cuz of the thin noisy guitar tone/production and more frenetic riffing and a few songs I wasn't that into. I'm listening to it now, totally forgot the classical part in the beginning!

@@hamedalharbi6590 I actually had that one on vinyl SEALED with the original "Buy Independent" sticker on the shrink wrap. I probably found it around 93-95 and sold all my vinyl out across the world about 10 years ago but you can still see it in my 2 Farewell to Vinyl slideshows, {;o)
