- In this video I demonstrate this neat little gadget I picked up from Hobby Lobby recently. It is a seed bead spinner and a long, thin needle and it feeds the seed beads on really fast! This is so cool since I've been making seed bead necklaces to go with the wire wrapped pendants I make. I can make them so fast now and it's also easier on my hands!

I have had one of those gizmos for years, they are a lot of fun. I got it when I first started in jewelry making but quickly got into wire wrapping, sadly it does not get used as much any more. I keep it for those rare occasions I need it. Thanks for reminding me of it.

@@ZurickDesigns Funny, I never thought to bring it up. It's one of those things that you just use it and have a duh moment and don't tell anyone else about it. I get so wrapped up in some of things I do that unless someone sees this stuff setting around in my shop and don't say something I don't think to tell them, "oh look at this." My one daughter sees stuff in there all the time and I get the moooommm. Why didn't you tell me about this. 9 times out of 10 I just give it to her and replace it. Anyway, glad you like it. It's pretty nifty.

Curious... why go through all the trouble and time of a seed bead and not do a crimp with crimp cover?
I did them that way too. This is faster!
