Please pray that my landlord give me until next week to pay my rent. Not even a month late, but she said that she would file an eviction notice. I just started working so catching up on things, but I have never missed a month. Just asking for prayer that she allow me to pay next week. Again not a month late, but just need another week. 🙏🙏

We just can't do that stuff anymore La La. We are too aware of what sin is now and it don't feel right. We gotta be really careful especially with music. Holy Spirit will convict us of it coz we need it, HE does not want us to fall away.

Amen, just this morning secular music was playing which I now abstain from and I felt reminiscent in my spirit and smiling. This showed me that my love for this music needs to be removed too, abstaining is not enough. God gave me something better.
I’m glad you are talking about this sis. Definitely needed at a time like this. I think that’s the beauty in growth when you go back to old spaces and realize nothing is there and you have only a desire to move forward because you sense the death surrounding you. I believe God allow you to make certain decisions to test your heart but also show you the growth in you as well. I’m still getting there but I’m starting to get easily agitated being around people in certain environments🤦🏽♀️😩😩

Wow!! The part about the day party hits hard . Last weekend, I had free tickets to a NASCAR race which included a Ludacris concert. I was fine at first but became vexed after a while. The cussing, drunk and salacious behavior, and spirits in the crowd started to wear on me and I didn't realize this until we left. In addition, even though I prayed before bed, i had dreams of backwardness that night and was not right until I asked God to take the feeling of heaviness from me that appeared over night. ..Thanks for the reminder that we are new creatures and cannot live the way we used to, especially if you are sensitive to the spiritual realm.

I’ve been hearing ‘Do not glorify Egypt’ all week! so I’m so happy that this video popped up again because God has been showing me that He does not want me to return to my old workplace and I continue to think about returning but God has called me out of it and this was the reminder to continue trusting in His plan and His time for my life. My God Lala thank you as always for your timely messages and obedience to release them. This can be applied to so many areas of our lives. I’m watching this while I’m on my way to work which is a toxic environment and as soon as you said that’s not who you are anymore I had a revelation. The people and situations I face at work have a tendency to make me revert back to my old ways. Snapping when somebody get outta line, going off on people that give me attitude, just not responding in the way a Christian should. This is terrible. I had to repent. I didn’t realize I was on autopilot just going to work forgetting to pray before I step in the building, which automatically means my guard is down and the enemy could use anybody as a tool to get me back. My God, thank you Holy Spirit for conviction. We have to take him everywhere, especially places we know are toxic but we have to go to out of obligation.

Yeah, it happened to me too. I Christian friend invited to a birthday party in a bar/ restaurant, and all the time I was there, I felt something in my spirit that wasn’t right, seeing all this people drinking so much made sad. I stayed for an hour and left.
Same sis. No lounges no bars. Can’t do it and won’t do it anymore. Super uncomfortable

I love the "forward moving and not backward" scripture found in Jeremiah 7:23. We walk in faith, we grow, we learn, we keep advancing in our knowledge of Christ. Today, I was an environment I used to admire or at least feel more positive about - but today I felt evil spirits hovering more than ever and God gave me a more accurate understanding of what that community is about. I knew there were dark things there and now, I accept that this area is not a blessed place.

This is so good. I just recently deleted a social media app that really entices lust , demonic lifestyles and is just enemy territory. The things ive seen men and women do on it is ground for the devil. The flesh truly is weak if we dont guard our hearts.

If anything ive learned, its important for us to he in environments where our growth is celebrated. Also, the promise of a new person - God makes us all new creatures in Christ- except sometimes we just don't see it. But believe it!- it's happening every day. Since Covid I've taken to fasting more and sometimes I am discouraged for lack of change but then some days, I can look back and say, "Wow. What happened? So much transformation occurred." We don't always see our own changing and growing processes.
This is spot on. In the moment we may not see it, but if we continue sowing, we will reap a harvest and bear fruit ❤

You all pray for me please. In my past I was doing whatever especially in my 20s I’m in my 30s now and I want to be closer to God. I don’t have the desire to drink alcohol anyway. I hang out with my co worker and let me tell you she said she hates Christians because we are judgmental. Should I stop hanging out with her? And just separate myself from her and pray for her. Wow! Not you asking do I enjoy this friend. It's a no. She's an on-again, off-again friend. And since we reconnected I just don't trust her. I loathe our phone calls because they drag on and are not edifying, just draining. I feel obligated to maintain the friendship from a distance, because she has very few Godly friends. But I am the one that suffers. I recently decided to block her after I had a dream based on a conversation we had. I asked God to let me know if I should keep her blocked or not, because she has a big event coming up that I said I would try to make. Well I prayed that yesterday and today I am seeing this video. I'd say this video is my answer. Just this morning I was praying 1 Cor 5:17. While it's not a situation of me going back into sin, this friendship is not something for me to be wishy-washy about it. It's truly not serving me any purpose, and I just have to let it go

how did you quit drinking any tips
I tried to stop cold turkey but it was a struggle. Eventually my cousin prayed over me and I went through deliverance.
But if it's a struggle to stop, I would suggest praying for deliverance and setting healthy boundaries when it comes to alcohol. Healthy boundaries can look like avoiding environments where alcohol is prevalent while you are adjusting to a nonalcoholic lifestyle.
