This has been, consistently, the most bi-polar community in electronic music for as long as I can remember. Lighten up, people. Not every track is going to be a game changer. I found this really cool because they took an icon of a track simply remixed it. A&B weren't trying to make it better, just make it somewhat of their own.

ok, I've been on this house scene for only a tiny while, and I'm sure that makes me a know-nothing noob to some of you, but damn it, I see your points about the track, but christ almighty people, can we just enjoy the music without comparisons, personal testimonies about how much ya miss the older sound, etc.?? Really, for a fanbase so in love with the fact there's so much unity, there's a ton of division here...
Been a fan of A&B for many years. They were really good back in the day, creating emotion in their songs. Now, much like Armin/Tiesto and every other big-named producers, their sound that made them so successful in the first place has been transformed into something inferior. Not a great remix, but I can see why Moby approves it; he's still getting royalties from it. I guess I'm happy for him because the original IS a masterpiece.

la verdad, a jucio personal me quedo con la original, esperaba mucho más de un título como ese, no sentí que aportara algo interesante. Me pareció bastante monótono, plano, sin vida y lo único que me agradó es la parte que suena de la canción original.

the original version of this remix that was played out over the last few months sounded so so much better. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release that version too (can hear a background track at around 2:45 / drop sounds different in this final version )
Six years since I first heard this, I'm still not convinced by the not well thought mashup between the original and the two drops.
Probably going for a full steady 128 bpm on the breakdown and verse too, alongside a remake of the melody with your VSTs would've helped a bit.

I'll admit I'm fan of Above & Beyond's old sound, current pure trance, psy trance, trouse whatever the fuck you call it. However, this remix has the perfect sounds/feeling to it. Moby approved this remix and so do I!
PS: The sounds might be Bayer influenced, but I don't hear Andrew Bayer at all. Great work Jono! I'm so glad they signed this to Anjunabeats, cannot wait to Arty's take on it.

I think this is just perfect. Even the beginning. Sure, it doesn't sound like old A&B, and I can see why people wouldn't like it, but whatever man! lol how old are you? were you even alive when Porcelain came out? and it's not just ONE track that many people don't like. It's their changing style and whatever direction they are heading towards that a lot of people don't agree on. This track happens to be a good example of that.
And another thing, Porcelain MEANS a lot to me as an individual. It should never have been remixed because it doesn't NEED a remix, some tracks should just not be touched. And trust me, this is coming from a long time Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep fan.

There certainly was a lot of potential in A&B remixing this beauty from Moby, but in my opinion, this may very well be the lousiest piece of music they've ever made. Still better than the stuff Van Buuren brings out lately, though.

The remix has clearly disrespected this beautiful classic. If A&B can't make sensible tracks anymore, they better stop trying.
I have to admit, as much as I'm a fan of A&B, this remix just doesn't do it for me. I can see how Porcelain would be a hard song to remix though; and I think it's because of the strings. If you warp them too much, then the track sounds choppy, so you'll end up ruining the somber feel of the track. Either way, this remix sounds more cheesy than Torsten Stanzel's remix did, more than a decade ago. Let's face it, his will always be the best.
