EPCOT ~2/3rds Day | Journey of Water & Meeting Moana | October 2023 Vlog Day 6

Our first day in the Walt Disney World theme parks had us going to EPCOT! I was very excited to finally see Journey of Water completed and to get to meet Moana. Plus Mickey & Minnie were, at the time, meeting together in their special outfits for the Disney100 celebration. And the Food & Wine Festival was going on, so of course we had some snacks.

Some people say this attraction would fit in better at AK. Sure, but it wouldn't have added much to it. But all this green and water brings a lot to visually bland Future World. I enjoyed it a lot. And nice to have a new attraction that isn't a thrill ride. My mother thinks that even after she recovers from her current health problems that she won't be able to go on most rides ever again. So it's nice that there's something new for visitors in her category to experience. Looks fun!

Yeah it is really nice to have something new that's appropriate for everyone. And for sure I could see it fitting in AK, but it doesn't NOT fit at EPCOT and like you said it adds a lot of non-thrill-ride ambience.
