Just wanted to point out this technique is probably the most accurate as Marylin actually used both black and brown for her iconic liner because she thought black alone was too harsh for her eyes. She also would put white pencil in her waterline to make her eyes look bigger
Her eyeliner technique is interesting. It doesn't wing too high at all. So it could create like a shadow or an extension to her lashes, giving her this dreamy look.
Been a long time follower of hers, she does techniques catered for her face shape instead of just using techniques which we see a lot on beauty gurus! She’s been doing this since 2015 when I first subscribed, one of my inspos to start face changing makeup
I have hooded eyes aswell, i just draw eyeliner on when looking straight in the mirror, no pulling the lid or looking up. It is the only way to create a straight line with hooded eyes
I came here to say this! I kind of like my downturned eyes but there’s never really any tutorials that accentuate it, it’s just about lift, lift, lift. 🙄 Well the “lift” looks weird on me, but I tried this technique recently and I absolutely loved it. First time I felt I had pretty eyes tbh 🤷🏽♀️
You have one of the most naturally beautiful faces I've ever seen. Even looking at all your features individually they're PERFECT. Absolutely gorgeous AND talented!
Yep. Bingo. The lower eyeliner wing was actually something Whitey (her MUA) did to mimic the effect of the harsher movie lighting, as it would make a shadow from her upper lashes being so long. This way she would always look like she was being well lit. Not many people do that accurately. Well done!
You make the best beauty content ever. The effort you put in explaining and those crystal clear close ups. And how talented you are in technique. Your Dove Cameron and Mal tutorials are my favorite and I had so many good memories while wearing looks inspired by your tutorials. You are such an inspiration!
I prefer my eyes with placing the false lashes like this! Love it! Even though the beauty gurus always say no to placing lashes like that 🤣 but Marilyn Monroe knew how to get that sad sexy puppy eye look! I love the lashes pointing downward than upward gives me a sexier look!
Omg! Started following yesterday and I was surprised at how you're the best 'MM lookalike' I ever seen and now w/o makeup you look very naturally beautiful. Thanks so much for your beauty insights!
Nice to see you are still around, been watching your vids and your makeup transformation videos a long time ago somehow saw your shorts on my FYP. Love your works!
This look is so beautifully done! Also I love how versatile it is, and you can add more color to it if you like, because it’s the perfect look for a cosplay I’m intending on!
What liner brush did you use? I always mark out my eyeliner with eyeshadow like that but it's hard to find the right brush for it. Also it would be nice and rather helpful if you could list the products and tools used in the description. I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, that is not my intent.
Wow, you do an amazing job, are you a makeup artist? There's no way I could ever do this? It definitely takes talent, which you have!! Love your shorts!!
Agree. But she's the only one who gets the shadow underneath the top eyeliner wing exactly right. Most people don't , they just draw another solid black/brown line. .
What I’m doing for the fake lashes is putting my lash serum only at the ends of my lashes and at the bottom and it’s starting to look like the fake lashes if I keep doing this for a couple of years I won’t need fake lashes lol (anyone that wants to know the lash serum I’m using it’s tweak lash and brow serum and sins lash serum. Lastly lashrehab lash serum. All of them are on websites so just click on the first two websites and you should find them) ❤️🌷
She also did the shape of her liner a specific way. It’s not all one thickness. It gets thicker at the top just over her iris and toward the inner corner tapering down in thickness

@@s_haro okay? 😂
Does anyone else think Marilyn got murdered?

Yes she was murdered
I have hooded downturned eyes and doing my eyeliner like this has helped immensely when regular hooded eyeliner hacks didn't work for me 😁
