That flickering finna kill my brain bruh
That happen to camera but the regular eye can't see
To tackle that companies have started to use a technology called dc dimming which kills the flickering issue and samsung and i phone dont use it but all Chinese companies have started using then in their budget phone too
@@oxstarknightxoYou dont see it but it is there indeed kills my brain. Makes me migrain, headaches.
@@kovacsdavid987no it doesn’t. That’s just blue light. You don’t see it because your brain doesn’t process it, so the migranes happen from blue light
@@oxstarknightxo*Но это сильно бьёт по глазам*
That striping on OLED can happen on LCD as well. It is just interaction of the camera shutter speed with PWM cycle speed (dimming) on the screen. Regardless of the screen type, if it uses PWM for dimming, it WILL flicker.
My phone has ultra-high flicker free PWM frequency of almost 10000 Hz
iPhone screen Made by samsung 🔥🔥
Still not the best thing

Wait.. I can see the difference of the black level even on my lcd screen.. 😂😂😂
This is because the camera has less exposure.
😂
Isso se chama contraste
You seem to be stupid.
Because the light blead from the lcd gets captured by the camera, so it adds up. So what you see as oled in reality looks like the LCD and what you see as LCD is just over-exadurated look of normal lcd.
In short, oled looks darker even on LCD screen, because in contrast to LCD, it is. You watching on an LCD screen just makes the black brighter
You explained very well👍
U know why the oled looks like its got lines on camera when its dimming? Its because its actually not dimming but rather turning on and off really fast and the dimmer you go the more the screen turns off for. Its amazing and the reason we don't see it with human eyes is because its happening at over 500 times per second which is even more amazing.
I don't understand this concept because of its not the brightness which is being reduced then if we flash the display on a wall and adjust the brightness there will be brightness reducing and increasing on the wall
Shutup kid
@@simpleguy8500 look up CZcams videos on the subject of how old displays work when changing brightness cause they will explain it in further details then I can via a comment reply. But its basically using flashing light and the duration of the flashing light to control the brightness.
Thank you!!
So lcd is is just stright up light ? Like light istead of turning on and of like oled ?
If you take LCD screen, it is always ordinary. You should know how to choose oleds, if it is a good one, you will not even turn on DC dimming (the main thing is to look not at the price of oled, but the quality

Don't worry guys, that flickering can only be seen in cameras
The flickering cannot catch by our eye only in camera
Jeez these comments are filled with kids that have absolutely no idea how manufacturing works
Huh?
I am 11 years old, I am from Russia, I understand everything.
Those stupid people say it's the camera's fault. The screen actually flickers it's just PWM. Nothing to do with refresh rates
And when Oled breaks it will create a crater in your pocket unlike lcd
just dont break the screm goofy
@@circleofthytyrantsoleds are fragile no matter how you take care of them, burn ins, cracks like on the galaxy S4, green screen of death, screen flickering, vertical lines.
Something IPS displays don't suffer from and since IPS is cheaper to replace, it's indeed the best display on the market, cheaper phones have the luxury of micro SD card slot and durable screen technology compared to these expensive money pits which are flagships

Did you just say lcd is better for your eyes? I think youre drunk. Oled emits much less bluelight. Much better for eyes.
The OLED makes my eyes hurt at night😢
My screen fhd, able to show both 😂
Flickering effect
that's the problem of samsung oled
very serious problem
Oled is all good except screen glare, brightness (sometimes) and flicker but to me, the oled flicker is like a black frame insertion and kind of helps reduce motion blur so oled is all perfect to me 😅
What's the problem?
The LCD did not flicker
Imagine getting the green line and the cost of replacing it is 200$
DC Dimming left the chat
Like a Sony Xperia XZ3, screen OLED pure and real colors
Yes but lcd is much better for using in dark. I had better experiance with redmi 9 on that area then xiaomi mi 10 or galaxy s8 plus or lg g8s. Thhey are brighter on the day but also in the night
I like oled
Oleds are not safer for eyes
@@Gopinathk17I have an glasses for my eye protection because I have weak visibility. if you can afford iPhone then buy a eye protector glasses it's not that hard
Not me. This technology is a scam
Me watching on 6 years old lcd😅
I’ve tried oleds since iPhone 11 Pro Max. Kept the 11.
I’ve tried 15 plus, 15 pro max and returned em both. I would get headaches, pain in my eyes and a nausea feeling. I really wanted to try the 15pro or wait for the 16. Decided on trying the 15pro and can always return it for $50 restocking fee with Verizon and wait for 30days to do a trade in with my 11.
And for a 15pro with 256gb at $2.77 a month really had me wanting it. So I decided what the hell. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now at all brightnesses and first few days seemed like it was a problem. But for the past 13-14 days it’s been actually fine. Almost seems like my eyes did adjust to it. So maybe it was the 60hz refresh rate that was hurting my aging eyes. The smaller 120hz does make a difference. My friend said the exact same thing. Took him some time to get used to it.
I’d say try it for a few weeks if possible. It takes time for sure
IPS, TFT, PLS vs Oled, Amoled, Poled
Jay shaha be like : "MUJE KYU TODA" 🤧🤣
Enserio la pantalla del iphone 14 es solo oled?
I prefer LCD, no burn-ins with that technology.
And quantum dots LCDs are still very good at reproducing colors when it comes to TVs.
That flickering on OLED though, not good for eyes.
@@JinnerVimiz I consider lucky that OLED don't give me headaches.
But you're right, the flicker on OLED is also another issue with that technology.
Hopefully MicroLED doesn't share these issues with OLED when it becomes more mainstream. At least MicroLED won't have burn-ins.

First of all stop appraising samsung, samsung gave licence or access to its research on OLED screen technology to apple, hence apple can customise the displays according to their need
The technology is the same. They just have a product and take orders. Like those alibaba sellers where you can put your brand, customise it... They change it according to their needs like pixel density, brightness... There is engineering on both sides but the screen still remains Samsung's tech they don't give their research or whatever tf that means. Like if you order a LG battery for your phone you're gonna build, you can request a specific size shape, but the overall tech is the same as all batteries they sold to other phone makers.
Even if the pixel density is different like those quantum dots display they all have the same tech, just different packages
