There is such a profound difference between attaching meaning & discovering it.
Without robust inquiry, no insight can be gained...without insight, no greater approximation to that truth of which we are (not the entirety) but an integral part.

Sir, I've very recently come to know about you after hearing you talk with Dr Jordan Peterson, and I've been also following a Philosopher called Jittu Krishnamurthy, who you are perhaps familiar with.
I felt deeply that your inquiry and arguments with all it's considerations are quite in line with Krishnamurthy's thinking in the sense that such considerations must be a part of the attempt to understand existence. Especially the consideration of the supremely limited sight of the "mechanism" that is "thinking" or thought through the similarly limited language not that it doesn't have its purpose and use.
Now it seems that we want to be free from the known, from static dead memory.
I wish and wonder if you're interested in inquiring about these things with me perhaps in the form of a discussion, because I don't believe in speculation. These matters are what seem to me to be the most important aspects of the world to deal with and hence my perhaps straight forward request.
I hope I haven't misinterpreted you. I felt as though I feel about these things in similar spirit to yours.
In ways of attending the word 'affect' is mentioned once l believe? And as l listen to this talk l wonder where the 1st-person perspective of affects subconscious self-regulation is? Would love to see a conversation between Iain & Lisa Feldman Barret about the subconscious nature of affective realism. Like the affect of birth of a new day or resurrection of the Light?
Our consciousness is the product of our initial ignorance... once we realized we existed we were presented with the action reaction process of .. I exist WHAT WHERE WHY AM I? And so our perception of reality and life began

The brain allows us to experience consciousness in terms of the enjoying the sounds and tastes and purpose. That gives our existence meaning. Why do we exist? We do not know but since we are aware that we exist it would be horrible to be alone and so we created this perception of reality to give our existence meaning and purpose

@@geoffreydawson5430 sure if I knew Braille or binary... communication can be expressed in many forms but I n the end sound colours are just BINARY in their “basic” form 1011100 etc. Angstroms are colours vibrations decibels are sound vibrations... the firing of synapses are another form of binary or electromagnetic energy pulses..

we created the universe because we needed to give our existence meaning and purpose our existence would be lonely and boring and meaningless. Not a pleasant place to exist.. so we took the energy vibrations on off on off and created a binary system to communicate and express our consciousness and wareness 10001110 is all that is necessary we call those vibrations angstroms for clues and decibels for sound etc.. we create meaning with those same vibrations which create our thoughts expressed as the firing of synapses..
another consideration is time that does not exist except as now... the past forever over and the future ne’er yet.. buT NOW consists of FAITH in memories of a past forever over and gone and HOPE for a future which does not exist yet.. that leaves us with the LOVE we need to make our existence have meaning and a purpose which is to make our nows enjoyable by as they change form from now to bow to now because that is all that ever exists

It is like a story... there can be a million words in a story but one word is just part of that story ... each of us is a self aware part of the entire story....you for example can have many different thoughts.. I like the colour green like grass but I also like the colour blue like the sky...each of us is just one part of the singularity we refer to as “God” the creator.. yes we created ourself because when we became self aware of our existence. We wanted to know what am I ... where am” “I how am I and WHY am I ??? But there was no answer to those questions so we had to CREATE answers.. we created our self in order to give our existence a meaning and a purpose.. I THINK ... I AM.. therefore I exist but I can only guess or imagine what I am.... or how I came to exist... life is that story we created to explain our existence..we are the UNI (ONE) verse... we are a SINGULARITY ... and each person place thing or event is just a THOUGHT we created to give our existence a cause and a purpose and a meaning...IOW we created ourself

Moses asked God “Who shall I say sent me” God replied “Tell them “I AM” has sent you. I am is not an entity, it is simply the FACT the EVIDENCE that I know I exist from personal experience. Everything else is just a product of “MY” thoughts.
