I really love the first one. Her facial expressions, when she sang the song truly expressed the emotions in one's heart. It was a pity that the judges could not see it. Love your beautiful voice. Keep on smiling and continue singing.
The Judges saw it but Mina chose to quit halfway through the competition because she wanted to prioritise her studies. She would have won if she stayed. Her blind audition was stunning, she sang Heavenly Father.

Her voice naturally sounds like a contralto/mezzo. Her lower range is so warm & just natural to her range. Her voice is really unique, same sort of chest register ability as Des’ree who had a similar vocal tone. These judges haven’t a feckin’ clue!

Mina Lund IMHO had the best rendition, her voice powerful, precise, vocals are amazingly silky smooth, and reached the high notes without sounding annoyingly pitchy. You feel emotions in her bravado. She was pitch perfect, and amazing.

Second: How do you know what are they trying to do? What if someone there wants to beat Sia? :) You just can't know such stuff and be certain about it. You're not in their head.
Third: Of course, they are just covering her song, and in a beautiful manner. And of course, every single one of them is genuine in their own way. I say nothing about them, but even many of the superstars were trying to 'beat' their idols at a certain point in time and were openly speaking and admitting about it. There's never just one side of the story, that's why it's such fun. Life is fun. :)
It's not just that. Anyone can imitate with enough hours spent training on a song. To be an artist is something completely different and is a different approach entirely. Sia is an artist, these people, well, they liked the song alot and trained it. They are not as skilled as Sia. Huge difference.
