In today’s world of distracted drivers and busy roadways, highway maintenance is incredibly dangerous. This is why Pioneer Industrial Systems has developed the Robotic Maintenance Vehicle or RMV to help save lives by moving road workers out of harm's way.
The RMV integrates advanced vision and AI learning with a FANUC Robot using line tracking to locate, map, filter, and fill cracks while moving down the highway with only one operator and no other workers on the road exposed to dangerous traffic.
