I do like your content, and agree with most of your assessments of the "hail" damage in these photos, but feel like this presentation creates the perception that contactors are dumb and bad. I'm a contractor and have never caused any damage to a roof, but I have however witnessed cat adjusters causing damage themselves to the buy the roof. I wish the message from this video was one of how can the contractor and adjuster work together for the benefit of the homeowner, not an us vs them. Causing damage is not OK, but probably only done by a small minority of people.
Hey, CW.. I have a LOT of videos on this channel about contractors and roofers in particular and most of what I talk about is the good. This particular video was just focused on the (rare) fraudulent things I've seen in my career.
Roofers are scumbags.
The reason insurance is so high, is the contractors not the insurance companies.
You are forgetting a couple of other reasons including Cloud Seeding: Supercharging Thunderstorms - SITREP 4.30.24 MonkeyWerx on youtube and garbage shingles of companies like BP and IKO who lost huge Class Action Lawsuits.
I don't know that I would go that far, but I'm definitely not moved by sob stories from roofers who are just trying to feed their families.
