NON C'E' DUE SENZA TRE...E.444 e G2000 DPO

Un emozionante viaggio Bologna-Modena-Reggio-Sassuolo-Modena-Bologna con riprese da terra e dal treno fatto il 4 ottobre 2019. (English description below)
Momenti speciali: tre G2000 in manovra accoppiate, LIS con 3 E.444, merci con Vectron Fuorimuro ripreso dall'alto, invio E.444+vettura cuccette Thello...e tanto altro ancora!
I made a round trip Bologna-Modena-Reggio Emilia-Sassuolo-Modena-Bologna, covering the two TPER operated lines to Sassuolo and stopping for spotting in Modena twice and in Reggio Emilia.
Reggio Emilia is my favourite spotting location: the main Bologna-Milan line carries about 50% of all freight traffic in Italy and you can see it, operators include Mercitalia Rail (freight division of the State Railways), Captrain (French SNCF Italian branch), DB Cargo (yes the Germans are here as well!) plus many more not seen in the video.
There are three regionally operated branchlines, TPER, the passenger division, is mainly concerned with the transport of students and in the video you can see the rush hour between 13 and 14 with railcar galore; DPO, the freight branch, is very busy too with its fleet of mainly Vossloh G2000, most floortiles in Europe are produced in Sassuolo with clay importerd from Germany and containers full of floortiles being despatched in all directions.
Apart from these you can see plenty of the famous FS E.444 class by now an endangered species, some high speed ETR 500 trains and the latest in word in commuter trainsets from Hitachi (the double deck Rock train) and Alstom (the duck-billed Pop).
Finally plenty of stored ex Belgian AM 56 trainsets in Modena Piazza Manzoni depot.
