    Been searching for grill tables. I am not at all DIY minded. But I am hugely impressed. If you're coming through Portugal feel free to drop in and help me build. I make mean burgers ;) Great work dude.

    This is exactly what I have been picturing in my head but couldn't find doable instruction to construct. Of course I will adjust it to my needs and size but I greatly appreciate the clarity of assembly and the tips and explanations you gave. Figuring out a top was also one thing I was not sure of; I didn't want to go through with building only to have the 'wrong top' make it last less than a year.

      Thanks, I swapped the top out for a granite top after I built it... kind of pricey, but I appreciate the longevity. I should probably do a follow up video.

    Excellent. I’m buying the simple plans. My neighbor just chucked a beautiful 28x40 piece of granite and I have a lot of good cedar from another project so I’m halfway there

      Sounds like a good start there... hope you have fun with the build!

      That is Penofin Ultra .... really nice stuff. I love it. That is the "transparent cedar" color

    If you don't mind me asking, what are the screws you used to install the casters? I couldn't find these at Home Depot. Thanks

    Did you build that Patio cover? I would like to do something very similar to this..

    • @Searedandsmoked

      sort of... just designed the concept, then had it built. I might do a post on that this year as several people have asked about it

    SIR! PLEASE HELP!
    How does one keep tongue. Groove from warping???

    • @Searedandsmoked
      @Searedandsmoked  Před 4 měsíci

      I have had the thin stuff warp a little in different spots. When you install it, try to tack it down in multiple places with the finish nail gun. Then you can add some backing with a 2x4 in the middle of it, if you find it needs another attachment point.

      Do you think I should take it off, dry and flatten it back out first? Alsoi used some supports on back of door, but it was scrap TnG. Should I use a harder wood?

    What material is the countertop?

    • @Searedandsmoked
      @Searedandsmoked  Před 9 měsíci

      This video shows the cedar countertop. I then upgraded it to Granite a little while after this video. Granite is easy to clean and will keep the interior pretty water tight. So... if you can afford it, granite is nice to have.

    What are those clamps you have?

    • @Searedandsmoked
      @Searedandsmoked  Před 2 lety

      I have a good variety of clamps on my "grill table toolset" list here: www.amazon.com/shop/searedandsmoked I use those aluminum clamps a lot, and also the larger red clamps a bunch. Very useful.
