We may not like the character but you can't help but admire the person portraying her, Lucy is playing a total blinder in this storyline!!👏👏

    You heard the Lady!
I'm glad we have a Soap that finally brings awareness and information about a type of Cancer... clearly brought up some maturity in Chas.

@CarlyHawthorne-gm2sw Exactly! I'm glad we're getting to know more about this. My Aunt well one of them anyway had this Cancer years ago and thankfully survived... so in a way it's interesting to see what she went through in a non arrogant way.

Well done 👍 Emmerdale for telling about breast cancer ♋️ I had that about 25 years ago see to I was adopted as a baby 👶 in 1947 ,so I didn’t know about my jeans but if you catch it early sometimes it’s better and have treatment breast cancer don’t have to be a death centred great story line emmerdale so relate well done 👍

Once in awhile it’d be ace to portray a miraculous outcome, even if it’s not a typical outcome. This is a television show and Chas doesn’t have to have Faith Dingles results. Keep her around ❤

According to Google today ~ You'll automatically get your first invite for breast screening between the ages of 50 and 53. Then you'll be invited every 3 years until you turn 71. So who's gonna check our breasts exactly? We can check them but without the proper checks by professionals there's not much younger women can do I guess? If not someone educate me as I'm pretty clueless on the situation of how younger women can get checked without going private

I'm 29yrs Old, I check my breasts regularly, have done since I was 18, do I have a clue what I'm looking for?? No I don't. They say look for lumps, but what do you do when your a naturally bigger breasted girl, and everything just feels lumpy. Its ridiculous that no one educates you. They teach you Sex Education in school, yet they don't teach younger teenagers about Breast and Testicular cancer, which in my opinion is a lot more helpful than to show teenagers other things which they will already know about.

Right On! I am 57 and I've been doing this for about every three years. There's nothing wrong with Breast Cancer Awareness. In The USA they did a Special Salute in The Magazine People where they showed Women who survived Breast Cancer and Olivia Newton-John was one of them who died (RIP). Also men should check for prostate and colon cancer. Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) had it, but survived but not Jerry Ver Dorn (Ex Ross Marler Guiding Light 1979-2004) who died. Also various Soap Operas from Guiding Light, Young & Restless, and General Hospital have done Breast Cancer Storylines. they even showed how two medical professionals can be diagnosed.

Maybe Chas should do a will. If this is how serious she is she needs to write who she wants Eve to be with if the worst and i hope it doesnt but if it does. Chas be honest Eve probably won't get married because if she anything like her Mum it will all go wronf.

I just hope she doesn't end up with a man who "kills his dad for her!" That is the sure fire way for a controlling and abusive relationship, and we are seeing the Carl King attitude isn't falling far from the tree, when we see Thomas with Belle.
I loved Chas and Carl, but what we see with Thomas and Belle is what we'd get with Chas and Carl. In his mind, he did this heroic thing for her, so she owes him. I hope Eve doesn't have the same toxic man.
And Eve would probably just end up living with Paddy if Chas dies.
