- Exactly one year ago, I started the recording of what turned to be the most special project I've ever done for this video game saga that had such a big impact on my life, as well as the one I got attached to the most. It's been a very difficult road and, to me, it simply started as a way to make a collection of cutscenes and gameplay in a chronologic order.
But after just a few episodes, I realized how many of you guys were interested into it, and more and more ideas started to come to my mind, leading to something bigger and incredibly special.
I myself realized how the Timeline project has been capable to let the viewer look at the saga with new eyes, in a way we've never experienced before, and there was no way I could predict anything like that.
Of course, any KH fans have always imagined in their head how some specific events occurred at the same time as others, but that was never put into an actual video form in a consistent way.
Today, I want to share with all of you what I believe are the most iconic moments for this project. They can be the ones that required tons of hours of editing, or those having some personal music choices which made some episodes unique, or simply parts I wanted you to remember again. This is the first segment; the next will contain, of course the Days parts.
This video won't be able to show the full extent of the episodes, so if you're not familiar with this project at all, you may want to watch the full thing.
No matter how much our opinions about KH3 can differ, I will cherish this incredible road we've been walking together forever and I'll never stop thanking you for the support!

@Miranda on my soul i felt bad for destroying them. At least most of them are somebody's again . . . except for Xemnas and Ansem. Vanitus was OK dying and accepted his role being darkness.

Wow watching this, I forgot how freaking amazing this timeline was 😍😍 my forever favorite moment will be the music swell when Aqua collides with the X- blade.
That is my personal favorite as well
Idk about my fav moment of all time but I have a small list of honorable mentions
That scene during the final episode terranort fight where Aqua reminisces moments with Ven and Terra
That scene where Sora gives his “My friends are my power” speech as link to all plays

10:49 I see now! The X-blade forged by Ventus and Vanitas was incomplete on both sides of the fight. Although Vanitas's variant was broken, the unified version had a dull blade. It doesn't have the sparkles the KH3 X-blade did. Although it could probably open a door to all worlds simultaneously, it probably couldn't control Kingdom Hearts.
Edit: And also the BBS X-blade's blue things are distorted and didn't grant Venitas flight.
Here's an interesting thing to think about in relation to the X-Blade and Kingdom Hearts.
Kingdom Hearts 1: Wrong way to summon Kingdom Hearts, but contains half of necessary components for the X-Blade.
Kingdom Hearts 2: Wrong way to summon Kingdom Hearts, no X-Blade Components.
Birth By Sleep: Correct way to summon Kingdom Hearts, Wrong way to forge X-Blade
Kingdom Hearts X: Correct way to summon Kingdom Hearts, X-Blade Broken
Kingdom Hearts 3: Correct way to forge X-Blade and Summon Kingdom Hearts (but for some reason was a different color than X and BBS showed)
Kairi's grandmother's speech is amazing. You did a fantastic job with everything but that part is SO GOOD!!!

Watching your timeline before the release of KH3 was a joyful ride, refreshing our memories and knowledge of the past games' storylines and preparing us for the grand finale. Your editing has transformed the timeline into something incredible, not to mention the genius inclusion of some of the personal music changes and modded gameplay in the Days portion. I'm in awe of how marvelous this project has come to be and hope it will continue someday with KH3 and the future titles.

Everglow, I’m deeply happy that I saw your videos, the first vid I watched was your birth by sleep chronicles, I was amazed and felt like I wanna play Kingdom Hearts more to experience the story, gameplay and the history of it. I hope you reach 100,000 subscribers because you deserve it and a lot more of your amazing hard work showing the efforts, royalty and patients of making these types of videos. I just kept smiling throughout this entire thing. Seeing you post a new timeline video and wondering what you had in store for us was the highlight of my day while waiting for KH3.
I just have to say, I love the way you told the BBS gang's story. Through simple edits (and sometimes really tedious ones too) you were able to practically fix the issues most people had with the story and breathe life into Terra, Aqua and Ventus' friendship. I already liked the TVA gang but your storytelling made me love and care about them in a way the original writing could not do.

This series further embeds Sora as my favourite character of all time out of any series of any form of entertainment. I hope the characters all band together to save Sora in the future. That’s one thing I wish we received with Kingdom Hearts III. Sora has given his all and even thrown his own life away multiple times for others, even people he didn’t know. I hope I’m the next title, we have a scene or even multiple scenes where the characters show appreciation for him and what he’s done.

This video holds up 17 years of history. A story that started simply as a question on how beat Mario in gaming. Then it became a project in a elevator and from then it grew and became a franchise with a huge fanbase. This is Kingdom Hearts.
I’m so here for this. Your timeline series has been so helpful to myself and many others. You are easily one of the best, dare I say the best KH youtuber. I’m going to be making a series of my own that focuses on finding the deeper meaning in fiction. My first episode will be about KH more specifically talking about Xemnas and how he was trying to be a hero of his own kind. I know that is a crazy claim to make but just watch the video I’m sure the video will be very convincing.
TruthSeeker When will you upload the video? Xemnas is my favourite Kingdom Hearts Character and also my favourite Villain of all time. I even make up my own stories with unique twists where Xemnas has convinced the inhabitants of Radiant Garden that he is a hero, a saviour, a charismatic leader and a scientific pioneer that will turn his followers into gods after opening Kingdom Hearts and have them rule a recreated universe with him at the top of course. They worship him and love him unconditionally. He is like the Fyhrer, the Organization is like the Nazi party and the citizens of Radiant Garden have been transported to the World That Never Was after their world fell to darkness and resemble the Germans of WW2 in their devotion and trust to their Leader. I know, disturbing but that's what makes fan-fictions special. I would love to see your project as a fellow fan.

Seriously, I can never thank you enough for all the hard work you had put into this series. I can't believe it's already been a year since you started the Timeline. It was such a great experience to have to act as a bridge until Kingdom Hearts 3 came out; what is now easily my favourite game in the series in story and gameplay. The timeline will always have a special place in my heart and I will continue to come back and see the best moments in the series. This video definitely shows some of the best moments in the series and I love and appreciate all the hard work you all had put into this series.
The timeline isn't just a reminder of how much I love the series, but how much I love its community. This series just has this unique effect on its fanbase that I have yet to see replicated in others. There's so much passion and dedication in the timeline which just shows our appreciation and love for the games.

Episodes 30 & 31, Destiny is Never Left to Chance & The Heart That Fought Back are still my favorite Kingdom Hearts Timeline episodes to this day. I've watched them many a time.
I've never played Birth by Sleep, but Kingdom Hearts Timeline showed it to me, & I gained a great amount of investment for the characters. When I was young, I only played KH1 & KH2. But I care just as much, if not more, about Terra, Ventus & Aqua now. Not just about them, though.
The feelings the whole Kingdom Hearts series are ones I readily remember, & I'm glad to think of Kingdom Hearts Timeline when I do.

Alex MYL I agree. I completely missed the dialogue with the stars because I didn't see them. The fact that they are missable but hold important story content does not sit well with me. I am playing through again so I can get the missing cutscenes. They shouldn't be missable in the first place.

Dude, that's a theory I've been having for a while. Especially when Luxu mentions that Ava fulfilled her role. I know it was to gather the dandelions but what if it was to also contribute to Kairi's birth which in turn led to Xehanort completing the X-blade. Wouldn't that be nutty?

This is amazing. But you forgot that opening scene from episode 68. I believe that was the debut of the HD days remastered gameplay. And that blee my mind more than anything. I've never seen anything so beautiful

I love how wonderfully edited it is. It helps to understand what is happening in the proper timeline. I have watched all your timeline videos and I can honestly say it's the best way for newcomers to the series to understand it. I myself am a veteran of the series from the very beginning. But I understand it a lot more now than ever thanks to your videos. Thank you very much.

One thing thatll always shock me is how immediate Sora is to sacrifice himself in KH1. He didnt have any hesitation, and simply gave his long traveled with friends a smiled before he offed himself. He didnt even know if he'd come back either.

Can I just say, most subtle detail; Terra’s Trinity Limits with Aqua and Ven while fighting Xehanort had his be Too Slow, because he’s losing his connection to the light. After he loses his body and is now full on against the darkness, his Trinity Limit reaches maximum power again, along with Ven and Aqua’s. I love little “gameplay meets story” details like that.
