My favorite band: since 2003 is Nightwish: years had passed, looking for new music that fill my soul as NW do, but without success: the music sounds so lame and soulless, until I meet Ígnea: this band has the potential to become as great as Nightwish or even more, who knows?

Once again I say, the best band I have heard in a long time . I love the bands signature sound I am hearing. Awesome guitar and bass tones, slamming drummer, I love the keyboards blended in and adding to the uniqueness of sound and the BEST lead vocalist I have heard in forever! I'm picky about the bands that I really get into but this is definitely one of them! Ignea is going places NO DOUBT! February 16th cannot get here soon enough, I am ready to crank this entire CD!! The melody in the chorus has to be one of the best out there!
For some weird reason Ignea's style to me sounds like a perfect mixture of Katra (especially 1st album, from Finland), Angtoria (former project/band of Sara Jezebel Deva) and partially Orphanage (some of the mood and the growls). Great!

I feel like the growling would be best when complemented by a deeper or much higher growl, but I'm not a musician or a producer.
I'm not normally a fan of growl, but this isn't too bad. I prefer to listen to Helle sing, such a magnificent voice.

Amazing transitions between hard and clean vocals!
In the past, I likened your sound to a mix of Opeth, Ghost, and Tool. With the hard vocals, I believe adding Arch Enemy to that mix is apt, and they happen to be another of my favorite artists. Delicious stuff guys!

I recently discovered IGNEA (thanks CZcams) "Alga" (most amazing Symphonic Metal song ever)! So of course I needed to discover more IGNEA. BEST female-fronted Metal band to date! Helle's voice, as well as the entire bands sound is superb and refreshing. This track is SO GREAT! Very excited for the new album!

I just got back into playing guitar and went looking for some new music to listen to and inspire me. I stumbled onto Nightwish ( whom I love with a passion ) and when looking into more of their songs I came across you guys and you are amazing ! I love the sound and wish I was exposed to this kind of metal before I gaveup playing 7 years ago. Kepp it up ill be listening for sure !
