The thing is that once Ze1sh took over the IGL role, ScreaM went back to dropping 30 kills. He even was 2nd on the scoreboard with 21 kills against Fnatic on their best map, Lotus
Exactly. Never understood him on kayo. Not questioning his ability usage(which I actually do question sometimes) but why not utilize the role you are amazing at? He just need to calm down, play an aggro duelist and let someone else set him up.

@@thelemonboy4 cuz kc replaced the 3 tier3 french players with actual good t1 players + a good igl(which was scream fault ) + a really good coach in engh , if scream in kc played with narrate , magnum and tomaszy they would be top3 emea at least(which they arent now cuz they miss 2 international tournaments)

@@spurt1390 reyna is not really viable in high rank as well. She is good for smurfs or for someone who has way better aim than everyone. In higher rank people usually have similar aim so she is underused if she doesnt stomp

This storyline is also a big reason why qualifiers are so essential to esports. I don’t want any teams to have a locked slot in a major tournament. If they can’t beat “random” “no name” teams in the qualifier, they deserve 100% to be replaced and lose their seat. No esports org is bigger than that.
I believe that scream, yay and demon1 r all in a similar position, where they got stuck on roles that they r not comfortable in, and that ultimately led to a decline in production that made their respective team drop them. Scream should never be an igl, the last few games of 2023 showed that when someone else helps call for him, he can go back to his fragging role where he absolutely shines in
Don’t put that finished Chamber merchant on the same list, he was good when he had minimal ego on Andbox and when Chamber was broken with Optic, but ever since then he’s just been plain bad on every role

Scream joined KC with a really weak pro valorant squad. They just weren't competitive at all compared to other squads.
"ALL AIM - No brain" is a pretty dumb statement coming from non pro players especially. He's a pro val player and was ranked 3rd best in VCT. Clearly has high IQ in the game. It's just like "bustyval" mentioned there aren't that many true IGLs in the game.
If he were to join a squad right now in the EU, it would be insane honestly because of his output alone as a dueslist.
Next year, if scream join gentle mates, it might be good for them to increase firepower
He's still such a Legend,in his stream whenever he get's in ranked match, enemies literally remake or surrender, and that in a Radiant lobby.
I watched both of his LCQ runs and he really had all the impact kills which got them rounds otherwise liquid's starts weren't working that we'll

What about Leaf, FNS , Ethan and Zellsis (to name a few of many) who all came from CSGO? Ex-CS players left because Valorant was where the money was and NA CS was dying. The players saw potential (and lack thereof in CS) and took a chance, which clearly worked out; look at the viewership numbers nowadays for PGL Copenhagen 2024 versus Masters Madrid, two events that happened at around the same time, one with around 1.8M concurrent viewers and the other with 3.1M. Also, being good at CS doesn't translate to being good at Valorant; look at the likes of players like Stewie2k, Hiko and notably Scream, which found early success, but none of which are still winning anything today in Valorant. Scream may have been a great CS player, but he's no more than a Valorant reject if you look at it from a different persective.

I always thought that TL actually needed a proper IGL that is fully committed into his role, and i believe that they still have this issue with a completely different role. They have top tier players that can get to arrive to the first 5 in the world, and still lose in the most ridicolous and disappointing ways. Scream is still pretty strong, he still haves something to prove to all these haters in the valorant scene, and i'm sure he's still hungry of winning and wont miss the opportunity.

KC was his downfall as he's a gun player and not a team leader.

He said in stream,that he gets multiple offers but he really wants a good team this time, so untill that he won't be joining any team. And he won't take the role for igl but at most only co-igl.

Stats actually MATTER. Dude had insane stats through severe parts of his cs and val carreer. Dude spent a lot of time polishing and practicing his playstyle, aim, gunfights, reads. How is that "all aim no brain". You can find lotta crazy braindead fails outta any player with that thousands of official maps played, just because it's impossible to maintain S+ gameplay thru all games.
I don't see how Scream personal perfomance is the cause for any of his former teams not winninh Major tournament.
I genuinely believe that ppl Who say: stats doesn't matter are that 4-15 kd guys in my usual val team Who tryin to protect their ego lol. Guys, it's a shooter. You can't win a valorant or CS game without shootin opponents, ya know?
I’ll say something somewhat related to the video which involves team liquid. They have been screwing themselves over with their roster picks lately. They finally had a roster that won big and they sold off half of it. Completely idiotic.
Sell when the players are it's most expensive, avoid paying high salary players, repeat

I mean just like with most sports or e sports. Not everyone can be a leader so yeah it is ego problem. He needs the right environment where he thinks he is the star man and the team that wants him to do well will need to accommodate that and to have an IGL that can work with him. Otherwise this guys is one of the best duelist in valorant

In my opinion the best thing ScreaM can do is become a fulltime content creator. His gameplay is good to create clips and to do live streams.
That will create a better future for him.
THE MAIN REASON for players like TenZ or Scream leaving cs is not because "they needed something fresh", it was because they were not successful in it. Valorant will always be the alternative for all cs pros who are past their prime or are not considered in the tier1 scene.
Just watch for screams last clans in cs... I think there is no explanation needed, TenZ was half a year in C9 (worst roster in cs history to that time) and then switched to ATK (dont know that clan, lol). So valorant was a easy step for them.

but later on he realized , not only does these tier 1 players have same godlike aim abilities as him , but they also have godlike utility , godlike movement , godlike comunication , godlike strategies .
