The person who wrote these lyrics is Ardalan Sarafraz. This poem was written when he found out his beloved father has passed and he was on the road back from another city. It's very touching.

@@matinrezaie6937 (depression) ain’t the only key word when I am or anyone else listening Dariush, indeed i can frankly say there are even comfort, delicate feeling and love emotions even in his saddest songs, apart from nostalgia to home country, the sobbing of mother and existential agony there are many implicit elements to his voice!! And let me tell you my friends, there are millions of people suffering from depression without any flicker knowledge of Dariush. So, no!! I dont agree with that opinion that reduce this artist to mere depression or psychological decline!! We must embrace the whole thing and focus or meditate more deeply to see what lies beneath!! Imma tell you a fact, the poet of this song (Ardalan Sarfaraz) wrote it for his father when he passed away. In an interview he said he was coming back from his military service and he saw his family coming to him and he looked in to their eyes and he realised they’re trying to embrace an orphan. In that particular moment he understood he had lost his father. He sat in a room and couldn’t cry but he wrote a lot of poems.

I think this kind of music is not depressing at all,but rather relieving. you might be familiar with concept of "catharsis".a short definition of it :
Catharsis (from Greek κάθαρσις, katharsis, meaning "purification" or "cleansing" or "clarification") is the purification and purgation of emotions - particularly pity and fear - through art or any extreme change in emotion that results in renewal and restoration. It is a metaphor originally used by Aristotle in the Poetics, comparing the effects of tragedy on the mind of a spectator to the effect of catharsis on the body.
he is somehow a perfectionist at choosing lyrics when they they are romantic or political or whatever.as a fan can be always sure that he picks a good lyric.he is a perfectionist at selecting bands to work with.his voice is baritone but he can sing most of tenor part too.

  • @AverageJoeBeingHimself

As an Iranian I have never seen a black DJ to cry. So keep it up man. It shows you can also feel the pain of Iranian singers. This man was a drug addict. A lot of Iranian singers are. He smoked so much different substances. But he now sings this song. His fans are not addicts. Their emotions are real. Sadly some people in Iran see this man as an addict as if he is a criminal and make fun of his mourning songs. He is not allowed to sing in Iran. But seeing a black DJ take the time to listen to his music which he has created all by himself, is amazing. Thanks a lot and keep it real.
