Whatever his ongame performance is, seems like he is quite a genuine guy. The interview seems honest to heart and was not generic lines at all.

Yeh, as a city fan I’ve always backed him, I’m not gonna give up on him. He’s had some poor moments and can definitely be better, the pressure and fright of giving the ball away has got to him mainly imo. But he is always honest and isn’t afraid to admit bad performances.

Our kit man is also called Brandon, he’s a legend, when we won the title the guy did a slip and slide across the dressing room in speedos after the villa game, he’s one of the closest people to the players and if he did do it on purpose I wouldn’t be surprised if he was just pissing around with him.

Such an overrated player, the Irish Guy was spot on about him in every aspect.
It's not a question of him 'waking up' - I'm sure he's trying hard given the quality of City's squad and how demanding Pep is. Jack's just simply not that good. He has some skill but he's nowhere near as talented as people think. He's been hyped up because he's English and has a bit of flair, but he's not even worth £50m. He's a 20-30m player at absolute best.
one thing often overlooked about grealish is that he had the second highest expected assists in the man city squad last season, second only to de bruyne, hopefully now with a true number 9 and being more comfortable he can hopefully meet those XA numbers as well as get some goals in

It’s always been like that, at the end of grealish’s career they won’t look at his XA or XG they’ll look at his actual finished product so as impressive as it is it’s still stupid as it means nothing even though it isn’t his fault the ball wasn’t put away with the XA

One of the best left .midfielders in the world. A pure lm. Ball mover. Dribbler. Key passer. Draws defenders. Create spaces. Terrorizes defenses. Probably the least dispossessed dribbler in the world. Nice pace. Not worth 100m but he was worth that much to villa.

He’s aware of it which is good to see. He’s not the first player to take a year to get used to playing for Guardiola and he won’t be the last either. He just needs to be more confident and assertive when he gets the ball, whether that’s running at his man or playing it to a teammate and look for the 1-2 rather than passing it backwards or sideways and stopping. The fact that Guardiola bought him and city were fine to let Sterling leave should give him confidence
