About The Carol Burnett Show
While there’s no truth to the rumor that “CBS” ever stood for The Carol Burnett Show, for eleven seasons and 278 episodes, this star-studded extravaganza of sketch comedy, song and dance became entertainment central for the network and TV viewers. Burnett operated in a relaxed theater setting that allowed her to take questions, cut loose with her famous Tarzan yell and join fellow performers Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner to have a laugh or sing a song. The show received 25 Emmy Awards and eight Golden Globes, making it one of the most honored shows in television history.

I hope that tv network executives will see this and bring a show like this back on television. Carol set the precedent of how a family show should be...
I know Carol is a very modest, shy person off camera, but on camera it's like she transforms and is just always naturally hilarious.
I watched her all the time with my dad on Saturday nites . It was our little ritual and we played backgammon at the sametime. I really miss those moments with my father.
Honestly, Sonny & Cher were such good sports during Harvey & Carol’s song because that was a brilliant parody - both their performances and the song itself. 😂
I never watched these growing up, I'm 37 now and absolutely love these..makes me miss the older days where things were hilarious and noone was butt hurt all the time
I was a teen when Cher sang that song about divorce. As a teen I was going to have a wonderful life and didnt give divorce a thought. Hearing it now puts a lump in my throat.
WoW! Sonny and Cher look so young, carefree and innocent.
I never had so much fun growing up! The poor kids today!
Remembering the good ole days when television content was healthy. Too bad the same can’t be said about television today.
It makes me smile to go back in time and watch these Carol Burnett episodes 😄❤️
Oh Cher! What an incredible being! Incomparable!
My favorite bit from this episode was the kid in the audience on the cameraman..."If he's such a smart mouth, how come you don't fire him!!!!!!!"
...I've said this before....Lyle Waggoner TRULY never received his proper accolades being a part of this CLASSIC TV Series; he was handsome, but we was VERY adept at the comedic timing needed for his parts, and showed versatility in his singing, dancing, & acting...a TRUE talent, that should ALWAYS be added with Tim, Vicki & Harvey..... RIP, Lyle... (
Carol burnett is one of my favorites😊
Carol's shows are still very funny.
Nanette's character is a lot like Blanche on Golden girls
Couldn’t he over how young Sonny and Cher looked. God Rest His Soul he really was a very talented man. Everyone was good on the show. May they all Rest In Peace. God Bless Carol Burnett. Very Funny and Talented people. We need a good laugh now.
♥️♥️ Cher and Carol are the only ones left. 😭😢
Growing up watching both Carol and Sunny and Cher great values and not all the sex and violence of today.
Thanks for the upload. This was during golden days of TV 1960-75...
