Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.
I hope this mold replaces that horriboe Hyperion body mold

I don't even care for this character too much but seeing him in person actually made me interested in him to pick him up. I love this new mold! It's just so refreshing to see. I gotta say he's the favorite in this line.
Wish that HASBRO should of used that new body for the new venom instead a total repaint
I knew nothing about this character but he looked cool so I bought him. I love this guy! So sinister and powerful looking. I'm going to read his history and get into the character. Very Happy with him although he may be the only character I buy in this wave.

omega red is one of wolverine's greatest and strongest enemy and almost beat the x-men a few times, alaso fought the avengers. He's someone not to mess with. He's the russain verson of the wepon x program.

Shartimus always complains about big heads(until that x23 figure) but puts a venom head on this body and the head way to small for it. Doesn’t complain thinks it is perfect lol. Good ole shart
Yeah this figure is super badass, I ended up getting another one that I will do some subtle washes on to bring out the details in the sculpt a bit more. I absolutely love how he is HUGE, towering over Wolverine, and not as tall as Colossus, but looks just as powerful.

If I remember correctly, Hasbro said we could possibly see a movie Venom figure, so this body could be a good match for that.
Perfect! I was hoping for this review when I just recently stumbled on your channel. Omega Red was one of my favourites as a kid, and I want to pair this with my Legends Wolverine that's in the mail.

I don't usually have the money for a whole wave so I pick the figures I really want. I pre-ordered Doc Ock and Wolverine from BBTS when they went up. I wasn't missing my first ML tiger striped Wolverine. I have Omega Red on the way now, found a Laura Wolverine and a Bishop at my local GameStop but only had enough for one so I left with Laura Wolverine. Today I found Multiple Man.
If anyone from Hasbro is watching this video, PLEASE THROW THE HYPERION MOLD AWAY! USE THIS MOLD FOR NOW ON! PLEASE!

Very cool figure just got him the other day I hope they use this body mold for a new thunderbird/warpath whichever one that will fit into a giant sized X-men display or 90s x-force
They should use this mold for a new Thunderbird/ Warpath, Drax, and Blue Marvel. Maybe they could use this mold for a new Beast figure too but they would have to sculpt fur on it

Was so beyond lucky to find this wave at a local Walmart to the other day, minus Omega Red. Immediately ordered on eBay. Too bad my area skipped the Apocalypse wave. I'm fine with paying a bit over retail for one or two figures in a wave, but not all. So unfortunately, will never get that awesome Apocalypse.
As much as I love the movie venom body mold I would like to see Hasbro use a omega red body mold for venom

I just love the grittiness of the Toy Biz one too much. The face and hair are just so much better. Not enough detail on the Hasbro one so it ends up looking too cheap
I mean, I'm fine with no bendy wire tentacles for figures. The downside is they get very sticky and they have those unsightly holes in them. Obviously the upside is you can pose them how you want. I think a nice medium ground would be a couple cut joints in them. Then again, I'm not passionate one way or the other lol. I pose all of my figures in a row, so no battle scenes. I do however like to keep all of my Spider-Man and X-Men characters together..just no dioramas.

Tom Hardy's Venom wasn't lanky though so it's not a great choice IMO

Amazing video, as always. I love this figure. I think he is a BAMF. The plain omega symbol on his head band bugged me. I used a silver Sharpie to make it stand out. So much better now.

I don't like that they didn't paint the Omega on his forehead white, but that's an easy enough fix
i thought hasbro shrunk the 12 inch wolverine body from the shape and muscle design.
and now 2021 we get to see Venom in that body mold

This Omega Red is a badass!!! Now only we could get a new Beast..........
I own both and think this one blows the original out of the water. The proportions are so much better than the long-legged original. Plus, I like the more simplistic paint apps. Gives it more of that X-Men animated series vibe. Maybe sometime in the next 10 years we'll actually get X-Men animated series figures, same as DC Collectibles gave us Batman the animated series. I just wish they could be done by DC Collectibles lol.
This sculpt should replace Hyperion, it's basically that mold with better articulation and proper anatomy.

I wish Hasbro would get their shit together and evenly distribute these figures across the country..at least stock up on areas where they sell very well, like my location.
yeah i think the toy biz looks too skinny the legs are lanky and thin i also thnk the black wash on the face looks like dirt, i like the bendy tenticles. My paint still looks good on mine cause i started my collection late. I can't wait to replace him with the new one and im ok with no bendy wire.
