Either that, or all jazz guitarists after Abercrombie,Benson, Pass, Metheny, Jim Hall and Wes Montgomery and the pervasive influence of Berkelee-think...sound pretty much the same.

Obviously a contemporary great. But I can never get used to those bended notes. Coltrane is the benchmark for beautiful ballads .
