Built in 1575 AD, it is the highest gateway in the world.

Gopuras in South India are also gateways. Most Gopuras are taller than Bulund Darwaza like Gopuras of Meenakshi Amman, Virupaksha, Srikalahasti, Ranganathaswamy etc

Gopurams have no arch and hence cannot create the same volume as an archway can create. But yes both gopurams and buland darwaza are great.

The video is about Highest Gate in the World and not the Volume, so Buland Darwaza is not the highest, it's Gopurams. Secondly Gopurams have advanced level of engineering, art, intricacy etc in them, On the other hand Buland Darwaza has None of these, Buland Darwaza is in Kinder Garten while Gopurams are Phd in Engineering.
