Heavy rain caused flooding on multiple roads along I-8 near Ocotillo, CA causing numerous closures. Accident from a car hydroplaning off the road on I-8. Caltran clearing rocks and mud off flooded road.
It’s a MUD-stang 😂
And this was just recently? You said the worst is yet to come, is that right? Thank you for your service and doing this, you're risking a lot. Just a really good way for people to stay informed. One of the best channels I subscribe to.
Cali could use more rain
@@blacksmokematters4521It could but then there is too much rain all at once which is never good.
I agree hands down! Always excellent videos.
@@denisemeredith2436 3 inches isn't alot lolz
@@blacksmokematters4521 in the desert it is. That’s why it’s called a desert.
The worst is yet to come? Geez. Be careful LSM.
As a local staying in San Diego, I thank you for the update
thanks for your updates and for checking on people!!
Dude you go for helping those people!! 😊❤
Nature at work. Don't get in the way. Steer clear. Basics.
Thank you for this! Be Safe Out There, Y'all.
What kind of vehicle do you drive? Thanks for sharing!
Any news on whether the 8 is open at ocotillo? 8:00
So far it doesn't really look like it was worth the hype.
Well, the dry air pretty much got most of the storm.
@@ShellymanStudios This was from an atmospheric River due to the Tonga volcano going off. Experts would know this was going to happen.
😆@@kamikazitsunami
@@ShellymanStudiosWhat dry air? There was no dry air associated with this storm. If dry air had been a factor it would have been ripped to shreds instead of being a Cat 4 at one point. What slowed it down to a tropical storm was due to cold water and land interaction not dry air.
It was still early in the day when you posted your comment. There are flooding issues in various places. Just have to wait until the morning to access everything.
In Texas, we practically come out of the womb saying, ‘Turn Around Don’t Drown!’
Another catastrophe
I looked on the map, is this town going to evacuate? Doesn't look like there is any high ground,.
Like his t shirt
I didn't hear did the guy thank you for checking on him?
Glad you are okay Dude!
👍👍
They told you to stay home but nooooo!
Damn lol I'm in Jacumba HS right now too 😬
Betting he has bald tires, was going too fast and hydroplaned. No reason for that to happen unless you're going too fast in snow. God people plant trees now while you can so all that water isn't flowing around. The trees would absorb it. Sine last winter's storms California should have been planting millions of trees.
😆
@@russelltackett4779 Would you do that to a mustang buddy boy?
This is in the middle of the desert. It’s right at the bottom of the interstate from San Diego County going towards Arizona. They get flash floods periodically. Trees don’t prevent flash floods.
@curiousnomad2020 TREES don’t grow in the desert dumbas. Maybe cactus
It's CA people still go 60+ in wet conditions. He was probably driving too fast for the conditions, hit water ponding on the road that he didn't see and hydroplaned over the side. It happens all the time when it rains as there are a ton of accidents when it rains vs when it's dry.
what street did that truck pass by
Hopefully the people in the towns cleared out there storm drains
I’d have asked him which bear is best.
Where will that water finally run off to?
It forms a temporary lake & then gradually evaporates. Doesn’t take long in an arid place like a desert
.
Some of the run off goes into the Salton Sea perhaps most of it.
😳😬
The weather Chanel stole your video FYI
Of course they did. Copyright means nothing to these megacorps.
@LiveStormsMedia.... Were you aware??
HAHAHAHA!!!
