‘Cynical’: Douglas Murray hits out at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

- Author Douglas Murray has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after it was announced the Duke of Sussex would receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service at this year's upcoming ESPY award ceremony in Los Angeles.
The award is given to a person with a “strong connection to sports” who has served others in a way that echoes the legacy of the former NFL player and US Army Ranger Pat Tillman, according to ESPN.
“What happens with a lot of this is Meghan or Harry's PR people put in calls to ask about various awards they can be given and then they bring their celebrity to the awards process and everyone benefits. I mean, it's so cynical,” Mr Murray told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.
Harry is not American, so why is an American not being given this award???
An award for serving yourself, what is happening to America. 😴😴
