Kelly Edward, you are a great host. You allow the viewers to express themselves, you do not talk over them, you allow them the space to soar their imagination, and also tell you what details of the house they like.
Like this lady. Rich but very understated.
she seems like a lovely lady! seemed so down to earth, she didn't have anything bad to say about any of the houses. really glad she found the perfect house for her!
You gotta love this woman. So positive.
All three houses are great and beautiful, but the 1st one was so lovely and had a lot of positive energy for me, and it had a softer and more beautiful outdoor view, but I would paint the outdoor walls beige instead of gray :) Of course I understand that the price is also very important to consider (but if all the prices were reasonable I would choose the 1st house)
California is crowded. Properties are too close to each other for such a high tax bracket. For this much money, I don't want to see a damn soul for miles. Lol! I'd rather buy land, build my house exactly the way I want it and own acres.
THANK YOU!! As someone who lives here and grew up here, I am in 100% agreement. Somewhere along the line, the "California Dream" became---live with 100 other people, that you don't know, stacked on and/or as close to you, as is humanly possible...and pay as much for that as we can squeeze out of you.
I own , paid for 4 acres and a pond, private no one behind me nor to one side. If my place was in palm springs, it would be 5 million, maybe but where I live it's under 200,000.
The new multi-million dollar places...packed in like sardines and no land!
Talk about it, they are all squeezed with no breathing space. All in the name of living in California?? Not me.
Growing up in a large house, I grew to love the idea of a small house and a large lot. Gardening is more fun than house cleaning.
Am I the only one that doesn't "just LOVE to entertain"?
Tracey Giertz you’re not alone !
Absolutely not!
Me, too. How many friends and family would even do the trip across States. Lol.
Tracey: Ha, ha, ha . . . I so agree with you. The thought of entertaining of group of people is my nightmare. I would rather spend the evening by myself.
I thought the 3rd house was lovely and a bargain compared to the others. With the savings she can have all her entertaining catered (fancy chef!) and have the pool cleaned, new furniture, a Paris apartment... I would love it :)
#1 from first sight. I love the coastal exterior!
3rd house for sure. Cosy and luxurious at the same time 😍
I love how the real estate agent allows the prospective buyer to express themselves, not speaking for them.
First house was hands down the best. It had fantastic ambiance.
You have to have millions, when you move here! Because; not only do the homes cost millions, the taxes almost do too! 😂 Very nice homes; but I would not pay those prices; unless I could see the beach! 👍⭐👍
The furthest you can be away from democrats , the better
Great episode! Nice lady! I'm in Iowa, but originally from California, so I, of course really took this particular episode. Loved all 3 properties...but I KNEW she belonged with house #3... & you just can't beat that value! She would've been a fool not to! Smart gal
shellebelleluvsred Thanks for commenting! House #3 was a good value. House #1 is in escrow now as well!
Yes! I totally agree, was just there and when the Lotto hit in my direction I will do two may three in Cali.
thanks for uploading the full video. both house no. 1 and 3 are gorgeous. the master bath and the huge closet of the house no. 3 is amazing and i love the bricks in front of the house and of course i love love loveeeeeeee the price! im happy she picked the third house. :)
dhel del thank you for checking out the full episode and your comment. We’re partial to #1 but that’s because we’re selling it 😀
I am sure #1 will sell too. Gorgeous!
@@briansperry Watching this from Central Europe. These houses are so beautuful. Having a litle bit of garden it would make them perfect in every aspect also for the dogs. I cannot see from the video any public parks with trees. it would be a selling point from me having several dogs as she said. What is the real difference in these three locations? Worth 700k dollars? The third house is spacious, has features from a dream and is the cheapest. She is clever and seems humble and nice. Very nice video.
@@Eskarinka1 I agree about the garden! I would want that bit of a garden space for the puppies, and peace. I like the shows in England "Escape to the country" as most expect a nice useful garden area with each home! They are usually BEAUTIFUL too, English gardens are notoriously natural and scrumptious :)
I love house #1 but #3 was nice also. #3 seemed to have less room and less privacy outside. I'd choose #1.
kitchen looked 70s
#1 was my fave except for the kitchen cabinetry and appliances. So lovely!
I love house 1
No one:
Tina: little town in Missouri
Number 2....please pass me the Gray Poupon 😆 and I literally could as close together as those homes are.
#2 Mid-Century Modern 🏡 is my style 😍 One level, no stairs, inside/ outside feeling with insane views from all angles, outdoor kitchen with a beautiful modern seating 🔥pit area, clean modern lines throughout the house which you can add small touches everywhere to make it your own to add some character! Somebody give me 4 million 💰💵 🤑
number #1
The 3rd house is nice inside, but your neighbors are on top of you. No privacy at all. I'd go with the 1st house.
really.. you hate ppl that much..Lady get to know your neighbours.. One day you may need them.
@@Bonstergirl1 I live in an apartment complex type housing and still don't give a shit about my neighbours..so what is your point? LOL
Those homes on top of each other reminded me of homes built after World War II..! Do you really want to hear your neighbor talking or slamming doors?🙄
Great example of a buyer unfamiliar with different cities in OC. A new subdivision in Huntington Beach is many steps down from a beautiful established community in Newport Beach. There's no comparison. I wonder if she really did buy the 3rd house. Hope she got a good local realtor to help her recognize the important differences in location between houses 1 and 3.
Really really love the 3 house ...that's the one I would choose
I did too but some people in the blogs are stating house 3 area has no value, I wonder why?
Are the furnishings included at this price point..The deck on house 2 is the size of my entire house..IMPRESSIVE..Landscapers for these communities are the new millionaires ...🤑🤑🤑
Love this! I'm happy to see more local Colorado real estate videos getting uploaded on CZcams! Thanks for sharing. 😀
1st house Master Bathroom n walk in closet had me at hello definitely amazing
Keep looking till the right house draws you in. You’ll know when you see it girl 🌷🌷🌷
I feel exactly the way she did about the houses. Outside I didn't like the 3rd house, walking in, I thought it was dark but I was pleasantly surprised. The first house was beautiful but just like she says, 3rd house offered better value for the money plus have the most beautiful master bath
Lol I live 3 houses down from house 1
That was the BEST one! I love house 1 !
Logan Nixon 💰💰💰💰
I was just 2Hrs from u while vacationing in Cali June 25- July 2019 loved it.
Imagine just having 3 million budget to spend on a house
Yes! But she could have got one for 1.9Mil.
wow prices have really gone up but it was nice seeing the homes fully furnished.
Dang, Compass has been snatching up so many luxury property agents.
She looks like Gina from RHOC
Charlene Neisler When I came upon this video That’s who I thought it was
I know! That's what made me click on this because I thought it was her! LOL
Don't watch reality tv... Shocker, eh? At first glance, this homeowner (Toni) reminded me of a mix between Delta Burke & Elvira. Both classically gorgeous ladies; absolutely no disrespect intended.
She sure does! I thought the same thing! And she has Gina's Hair style to match! 😅
Yes to the 2nd house for me! Just move it to Vegas!
Yes I absolutely love the second house it's so beautiful.
I personally love house 2. House 1 is really nice, but for me personally House 2 is the best. I don't like house number 3 at all.
I don’t think it really looks like a home, just like a house
I love house 3 on the inside a loooooot but the color of those bricks throw me off as far as my taste that's all. The buyer and I are from Missouri and pretty much have the same vibe in taste because it's cozy and u need cozy when u come home after a hard day of work.
Yes i love House 1 and 2 ...mostly 2
Love house 3!🎉🎉🎉
I was having trouble figuring out where they were. I thought it was called Huntington Beach, and she's saying "Hunnington".
Huntington for short - Huntington Beach. The first two homes are in Newport Beach.
Keep in mind, that is Orange County and closer to the coastal area, which is some of the most expensive real estate in Southern California. The two areas that I like the most are Laguna Beach and Dana Point, but the homes and sites just seem out of whack with what you get compared to what you pay. Heck, even in Silicon Valley, if you pay enough, you are getting acres of land along with your huge home. Not down there in SoCal.
House no1 was amazing
Excellent choice.
I agree but why are some of the California people vlogging her value on her house choice will amount to poor in comparison to Newport.
That ensuite!🛁 Aside from the stairs, ceiling & office in house #1, I prefer everything in & out of house #3 & it's a better value.
The first house would be absolutely perfect for me. Although I could never afford anything even close to that price. I dont like mid century modern unfortunately
they made up that name you know lol
Great choice.
She seems very humble
House 2 😍😍🥰
She seems so lovely
I would go with the first one
Very Beautiful house
Did anyone explain the difference between HB and Newport??
Between the two homes or between the two cities?
Newport beach is more ritzy area. House are more expensive.
All homes were nice! Just too close together though! Home #1 had a lot of amenities for the neighborhood! Home #2 was.sexy but over-priced! I did love house #3! It was gorgeous!
California is running out of land! She made the perfect choice! It reminded me of a Central West End Home!
I hated the cupboards in the first house, the 2nd house was cool, 3rd house was nice, but neighbors all around you. The realtor is nuts to say the 2nd house was “a hair over” i wonder if she would like to lose about 15.5% commission, and b told it is just a hair of a loss. 500,000. difference is a huge difference. She shouldnt of taken her to something THAT over.
She would've been much better off buying the first house. It was more money, but it's Newport Beach which has much better appreciation and resale value for sure. I know that particular area and it's a super-great area. Not on the beach, but that would cost much more $$. Also at house #1 she's got nobody behind her. Every home I've ever owned, if I had a problem with a neighbor (like damn barking dogs!) it was the house(s) behind me... Too bad the #3 house wasn't in Newport Beach!
thank you for the reply and doing such great house videos!! @@debbieb9628
Agree on number one, yet suppose she saved enough by choosing the third to decorate and furnish it.
What is the value in Oceanside CA like?
I would like to ask the following questions:
1. can a filipino from the philippines buy a property in your country?
2. how much is associations dues there on those location you show in this video?
3. how much is the real estate tax annually in that area?
4. can i only buy a lot there on those location that you show in this video?
1. Yes
2.$250-950 per month average
3. California property tax is 1% per year of purchased value
4. If you have the money you can buy what you want.
@@ranaskip Thanks for answering. The HOA is about $700/month for Property #1
Definitely the 1st one!!! The others went amazing to but the 1st would me n my old man better especially with the bonus with the golf course the old man would have loved that 1st was magical atleast for my taste not saying the other 2 were horrible just better my style n size
I want them all!
Good choice!
WAIT is this the "I own a couple of businesses" lady from the Millenniums vs Baby Boomers video?!?
Wish I could have a house like this.
Am I the only one to suspect that some of those are fake buyers? I mean, maybe not this one but i’ve seen other episodes where a 30 years old woman had a budget of 25millions(!!!) to buy a house to “showcase her success”? (She “had worked hard the last 3 years”)
Is it realistic for the USA??
There should be a law against putting homes so close together. What an eyesore.
It is amazing how different living spaces can be depending on where you need to live. We've lived so many places across the US and 3+ years in Europe, and you adjust to what you have to. Living "tight" (squished and surrounded by a lot of people) is not what we enjoy, but we managed, when necessary we made it work. I'd like to live "outside a village" (a bit remote but everything within 5 minutes drive...).
I'm sure the 2nd home has a more affordable smaller version. Does anyone just choose and buy from 3 houses.
Hi. Nice
Where do they get all that money from 🤔🤔
Nick Vartan
🤣
I was wondering same thing 😉
People work hard for the money they have
She will be a neighbour of Kirsten Cohen and Julie Cooper
1st house is 2.5 million
2nd house is 3.1 million
3rd house is 2.1 million
That's my opinion not the actual price though
Man... Homes. So so close together
So small. For the price 💸💸💸
It's all about perspective. I live in LA and was shocked at how affordable the 3rd house is
I'm I the only one like #2. Love Midcentury Modern. It would be for me. Not Entertaining. Not into entertaining.
Count on Jesus
Someone help tell me the name of the playful electronic song at 16:16
I would never live in the house #3 neighborhood. They're packed in like sardines.
Imagine spending millions of dollars and being six feet away from your neighbor's house. Yuck!
And, the reason it's cheaper is because Newport Beach is more upscale than Huntington Beach.
Too Expensive for the style and size of the house. Bad deal.
lol its in california
Old kitchen cabinets
First one was my favorite, but would definitely have to remodel the, kitchen, bathrooms, floors evenly throughout, paint everything white, knock down a few walls. 👌🏽
Do we know if the homebuyers in this series actually get the house they choose?
They usually already own the house during filming.
Homebuyer looks a bit like the lovely horror hostess Elvira (Mistress of the Dark) LOL.🧟♀️
Numbee1
The third house, for me, needs to be single story and put on bigger plot w/views. Don't care to live that close to other homes for that money.
Nothing about #2 was pretty. The kitchen looked more like a garage.
Why anyone would move to Cali these days is beyond me....
i would
Why what's wrong with cali?
Rocky baby, I would do it if I hit the Lotto and would purchase a home for vacationing there. I was just in San Diego, CA Oceanside CA, Hanford CA, and Los Angeles for an entire week loved it.😁
@@romyhols nothing was just there end of June - July 2 and loved it.
homes sold on this level and she says RealAtor....there is only one A in REALTOR...drives me insane
I wonder where she's from?
Southern Missouri.
@@CBrown9758 I hope you know I was being sarcastic...she said it like a thousand times.
@@NicolesNaturals oops my bad.
"This deck is bigger than some people's houses".
I felt really offended
Why would you be offended about that? Because that deck was bigger than a lot of people's homes.
@@JadeCampbell40 It's a fucking joke, ffs.
A brick house in an earthquake prone area is a really bad idea
Shes so down to earth... Its more like a continent not an island😂😂😂
#mullerimoveisrj 🇧🇷 Brasil
That a lot of money for a zip code and houses as close as $500 dollar or less homes.
the second house was itt
Did you know that Americans didn't invent open plan.. we've had an open plan kitchen come lounge since i was 11 and now I'm 64 in June.. I'm not keen on them myself. American crave privacy and yet you have open plan living.. Guess you can do anything when you're that rich..only had 3.2 million to splash around ..Each to their own I guess..
So she got the house?
Who cleans these big ass houses??
Servants 😊
sinkholes abound
Explain? Please.
@@CBrown9758 aren't there zillions of sinkholes in Florida?
its all just a realty scam..cant u seeeee?
the whole CA is over priced.... bubbled :)
She talks like Bruce Jenner
Hope they stay there.....no resale value
What about Newport? And why is the choice she made considered no resale value?
