    You can also go to a lot of historical sites in Charleston. Sometimes if you’re lucky you get in for free as well. Nice place to be

    Hi Katarina! First of all me an my wife has been spending a lot of time watching you videos and learning a little about Charleston Area. Could you please do a video about Hanahan and Ladson? I don't see a lot about these areas and I am curious about it. Thank you so much and keep up with the good work!

    We sure know the low country isn’t cheap, except gasoline is usually not bad (compared to PA). But housing and served food is very high. Groceries at Walmart/ALDI is similar to here, I mostly went to those locations in Mount Pleasant. And yes, that triple tax on the second home is brutal, we’re at close to 9k/yr on a beachside condo. Gas around here around $3.60/gal for low grade. But, hey, that’s the cost of being blessed to be in a good position.

      So true! Thanks for sharing. Glad you're able to make it work with the beachside condo, definitely a good position to be in despite the taxes.

      Yes but revenue was down about 13k 2023 to 2022, so more out of pocket for us. Still a great investment.

    Moving next month to Dorchester County to Silvana Oaks. Can you tell me about this area

    • @KatarinaWestRE
      @KatarinaWestRE  Pƙed 4 měsĂci +1

      Exciting! Yes this area has a good amount of retail/restaurants around. It's close to the air force base and Charleston airport so Dorchester Rd can get pretty backed up, especially during commuter times. But that should be a good spot to explore the things to do around town - not too far from downtown Charleston, the beaches, etc. Hope you enjoy it!

    Are you living in Charleston and are you shopping yourself? Where do they sell milk for $2.49 per gallon? That applies to all of your prices. You make Charleston a lot cheaper than it actually is.
