That's exactly what rapping is. That's why Eminem changed the whole popular rap genre so much. His use of words as percussion is just so different from most ppl who were arnd then. Ppl would use the word "cadence" to describe it, but it's so much more than that.
My favorite Ren song! Beat, flow, word-play, rhyme scheme, story telling, depth of meaning in the lines.... Chills! FIRE! I have heard it 60+times and STILL can not stop bobbing and weaving to the beat.
7:50 Here ren is saying God was dead to him. "I watched him tie the knot and jump from my bed I bared witness". Ren then bowed to his new God (his disease) and begged for mercy... INCREDIBLE! "The bones where the devil rests" (Lymes disease attacked his bones)... SO many bars in this song! Such depth.

I could be wrong, but I think it’s just the mixing/mastering Ren has had help with. Pretty sure he comes up with the beats all on his own. And I think it shows. Lyrics, flows, melodies, and all the music fit together like he had an overall vision and used everything to express it.
The beat from Seven Sins sounds like the beat from lonely island mother lover just slowed down
I think prior to this album that was the case (expect for his Retakes) but if you look at sick bois credits for the song production/writing - He had help with the production on Lost all Faith, Love music pt4 + Masochist. Vic had input on Down on the beat too.
It's Welsh at the start of this song, great reaction guys this is currently my absolute favourite song of rens right now

I'm 51 yo, from Northern Europe, more like ZZ Top and Nickel back fan, never much interested in hip hop and rap apart from some of Eminem's classics, but Ren has opened a completely new and exciting part of music, and I'm happy and thankful for that!

These 2 tunes are so dope, the flow switches are crazy, especially in Seven sins, and then in Wicked Ways when he jumps into that choppa flow, nuts. Def two of my fav's off the album 👍🏻

Wicked Ways is probably my favorite Ren song besides HI Ren and money game 3. Those are in their own catalog of just masterpieces!
The Charismatic Voice does so much. She’s best friends with the vocalist from Lorna Shore as well! Which is wildddd. Will Ramos is an amazing human.

Oops, spoiler! - Oh, and Ren said in an interview that it takes him a long time working on the live audio on his music to go thru and level it because, like in Hi Ren when he turned his head back and forth the audio wouldn't be even. I think that's exactly what Andy said and got tons of sh*t for. So, you go on Andy, always say what you think cause you've been spot on.
Yes Andy has said that Rens lives couldn't possibly be real/all live because of the head turning even after ppl told him how they heard Ren himself say that it is ,so ppl gave him sh*t because he couldnt believe that so basically called Ren a liar all cause he didn't believe Ren could level it all which he painstakingly did as he has the musical patience of a saint and the ability of a musical wizard lol , questioning is fine but still questioning when you've been told the truth came from the horses mouth because you think you know more is questionable 😂lol ,I still like Andyroo he's willing to change his opinion if he's shown proof ,maybe his mind will be 🤯👍

Not to take away from Ren as he is IT for me. But talking about orchestra in songs i felt my duty to share info on another underrated talent I recently discovered. Belgium born artist Apashe 🤯. We all been 💤 on him. He does sick symphonic orchestrals with genre-bending of hip-hop/rap, dub, electronic,bass nurofunk, trap, EDM mix,some grime etc. Plus the videos are very Epic. So dope. Hope you all look into him. There's definitely a few track titles should not miss if you do

Two of my favorites on the album! Both are amazing in so many ways! I am always in awe of Ren's capabilities as an artist/musician! I hope Ren continues his hip hop skills while expanding his other musical interests! He's just such a skilled rapper and I need more!
