So the countdown continues....! Still 3 weeks to go and we're deep in ordering nursery items and clothing and just all things baby!
We went from having nothing to what feels like too much already, but definitely starting to feel so real now. We're beyond excited to bring this baby in to our lives, but it's also leading to a lot of deeper convo's about it. Defintely part of the journey, but interesting none-the-less.
Thanks to all of you for the feedback so far. It's been really helpful and inspiring.

Brendan, Hannah is nesting; great jolt of energy and focus! It feels good! Thank people for advice, listen then do what works for you, best! I went into the NASA Space program with my first child-a c section delivery (after 10 years of trying)! 6 weeks old, we were in the air on an assignment: by 2, she knew the travel culture better than I did! I had help but not always-the baby will “guide “ you!👍🏾😊

You guys are going to be such great parents!! When I had my first baby, no one told me how hard that first month was going to be. Nobody tells you this because people only talk about how great it is and not how hard it is. But just know it only lasts about a month. After that hard first month, it will be so much better :) And I’m totally with Brendan about the mushroom!

I have a friend who loves travelling. Having kids hasn't stopped her and husband travelling and they stay in hostels or campsites with their three boys. I'm confident you'll be ok 😊

Sounds like you may need an Aupair! I used to work for a couple like you, I looked after the baby, managed the household and made sure there was always a healthy, balanced meal, breakfast, lunches and dinners. It was hard work, but best 5 years of my life!
I agree with the “chicken of the woods” mushrooms because my 5 year old son is obsessed with it, he has watched and read books about it and he talks about it none stop. 😅 literally taste like chicken though do it cooked! Not sure about it being pregnant do ask a doctor but if you are not pregnant it’s ok to eat just make sure it’s cooked.

@BrendanFallis, congratulations to you and Hannah! You have probably received this suggestion before but try to do this before baby boy comes - fall asleep at whatever time you want to, and wake up whenever you want to. These are luxuries you probably won’t have for a very long time.
