What may possibly be my swansong to hosting Warrior Cats MAPs. Yes folks, for the time being this is my planned final MAP hosted that's about Warrior Cats.
Honestly? I'm happy to go out with this MAP. It turned out stunningly, all thanks to the participants.

Now, a little about the MAP.
I've always found it a bit of a shame that StarClan eventually changed from this mythical status to essentially just being basically another clan, but with magic powers.
So the focus of this MAP was to ask the participants to do various scenarios with focus on living cats interacting with StarClan cats, however to keep the feel mystical and non-familiar.
So the StarClan cats are more wispy and spirit-like than their canon counterparts! - Krátké a kreslené filmy

This map is exActly what Starclan should have been.
Mystical, beautiful and heart quenching. With this perspective it packs a hell ton more emotion that at this point, the books can't really give as we have had a character's canon view inside of it's fields.
But this is just so flawlesss. Like for real my heart is soaring.

THIS ANIMATION MADE ME REALIZE SOMETHING. When the bird flew by and dropped a feather next to Jayfeather, the feather comes from the Jay's Wing. A shadow of the past, an incomplete form (blind). His two names have way more metaphorical meaning that can be put into them than I ever realized.

I'm actually tearing up this was a song I always associated with Warriors growing up and seeing this feels like I'm a kid again sitting under a tree and being completely immersed in these books
I have an idea or an AU about starclan
(!SPOILER WARNING!)
starclan in the first books were mystical and beloved but as the story progressed they became less mistic and more, normal.
what if they stayed mystical?
they would do this by, only communicating with omens and dream walks, but only VERY RARELY, one of the reasons why they became more knows was because of repeating omens like "blood will spill blood", and visiting regular cats.
so, they wouldn't speak to any living cat and only send images and dream walk.
they could also be colorless why life walking (starclan cats in reality) they would be wispier and goast like instead of just a sparkly white outline. they would only be a grayish-white with there own color eyes that seemed to glow with wisdom. ( 0:12 )
in the last books starclan actually as a whole defeat the dark forest. but it was planned by some amount that they would help because starclan spoke to the three.
now if starclan didn't speak then it would be a very big surprise when a hord of mystical goast cats showed up from the sky without a word and helped the living. and before they left they would nod to there loved ones and disappear as wisps in the wind. I think it would be better like this so that they weren't seen as still living and still speaking cats.
the only cat(s?) that could really "talk" to starclan would be Jayfeather and Firestar and maybe a couple others. but very rarely would starclan speak back.
starclan would also protect the cats, such as starclan preventing some things from happening in this AU. starclan can't really stop a dog or many dogs for that manner, but they would try. and to show that they tried to help, a small white flower with blue tips would grow near the cat(s) that they tried to help. (think bright paw and swift paw with the dogs, they would have small flowers around there bodies when the cats found them)
I think this is all I have for now if you read this- thank you- it's kinda long-
might edit this for more ideas.

Fantastic Map, everyone should be proud of their work here! I's amazing how you all managed to keep a consistent feel to it thematically and emotion-wise while still keeping your individual styles so iconic, definitely not easy to do!

*EDIT:* ACK i'm an hour late but holy cow! This was absolutely stunning, and I mean stunning. I've been looking forward to this MAP ever since I saw the MAPS call, and I'm so proud of everyone who put their hearts into this masterpiece.

The final result is amazing. I've always been a fan of celtic music and warrior cats together.
This makes starvlan seem more mysterious and wise- after we got a medicine cat point of view things for star clan seemed.. off, idk, I just like the idea of starclan actually being powerful and wise, maybe it’s just cause I think the after life is mysterious and that’s how I represent it

Aah, this MAP was enchanting! I really love the mysterious feeling that every participant managed to get into their parts and despite that, there were different scenes mixed in between it was still very easy to follow and understandable what was happening at any moment~

I'm really sad I missed the premiere but watching everyone's reactions play back is so great and heartwarming!
