peep his assist-to-turnover ratio with the kings, peep the reason why they traded him for bibby. yeah his highlight reel was filled with amazing stuff, but it doesn't show him bricking a deep pull up 3 ball or throwing a no look pass into the 4th row. he was a turnover machine during his kings days and his years with the grizzlies reined him into a more mature player.

THIS ... was an AWESOME segment. It made me feel a much deeper respect for great players I’m not as familiar with. It made me laugh. Loved listening to all those beautiful memories. Loved listening to and watching Kevin Garnet and Jason Williams do that magic. Still trying to process how Jason could intuit a wild move like that in the middle of a game.

Down 33 to a really great team we had no shot at beating, I came off the bench and tried that off the elbow pass which surprisingly my teammate could've caught but just was a little too quick. Needless to say, got benched the rest of the year. Transferred schools two years later and pulled the same shit. The second time I did that in a game, I pulled it off, we were up by 20+, and I caused a riot bc the other team got mad salty that I disrespected them lmao. Buncha pussies. S/o to the legend White Choc! Got laid by 4 girls that night after dishing out that dime. Respect to the OG.

Hes not from the hood i grew up in the same area. Its a poor area for sure but i wouldn't consider it hood. Jason is a legend there though really good guy to never let the super stardom get to his head and never forgot where he came from. You wouldn't guess it but I'm pretty sure Jason's dad was a state cop lol.

J-Will kept my NBA fandom alive. I grew up 40min outside Chicago. Went to the final Bulls rally in '98 and that team BROKE me in '99. Then I saw J-Will & C-Webb on TV during a trip to Bay Area with my family. This was abt a year before the Kings were on TV ALL THE TIME. When Iwas back in Illinois I was pirating Kings radio broadcast! Hard to believe that was 20+ years ago. Then they traded Jason for Bibby and I said FUCK YOU to the NBA for a few years. 23 & 33 ending their run in Chicago cracked me, J-Will getting traded shattered those cracks.
