Love the card and figure. These are quite tough to find in the UK, even online uk stores are out of stock. Managed to get one though on ebay, at a bit of an inflated price. Should look nice next to the other carded Vaders.

This is the BEST = Lord Vader
I honestly don't think they could have done a better job with the three-part helmet with this scale. Depending on how we place the portrait, chances are we have a better chance at reducing the gaps. My main issue with the figure is the hinge on the right hand being next to unusable due to the way the glove is sculpted. The rest is near impeccable for me and my opened unit didn't have a frayed cape so that's good. Yes, I ordered two of this Vader because of that cardback. While I do think the Dark Times Vader achieves more as an action figure, I'm happier with the Death Star II Vader. Fun fact: the POTF2 Flashback Photo Vader was my first ever Star Wars figure so the circle is now complete.
I think the Dark Times and this Death Star II version serve different purposes, so having both fills the gap. Our Death Star II version will likely be displayed with helmet off, as that's what works the best.
The vintage collection has been outstanding. They should redo some of the older figures with the new barbell hip joints.
Yep, we'd be happy with a few upgrades for key and interesting characters.
A lot of original (2011) Vintage collection figures are reused molds from earlier lines so we're talking about parts that are well over 10 years old. I believe going forward it should all be new sculpts.
