আপনাকে কে বলছে আম পান ঘূর্ণিঝ সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী ২০০৭ সালের ১৫ই নভেম্বর বঙ্গোপসাগরে সৃষ্ট ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিডর হারিকেনের শক্তি সম্পন্ন সুপার সাইক্লোনের রূপ নিয়ে ২৮০ কিলোমিটার বাতাস নিয়ে বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিণ অঞ্চলে উপকূলী জায়গা গুলোতে আঘাত আনে তার সাথে জলোচ্ছ্বাসের উচ্চতা ছিল ২০থেকে ২৫ ফুট তখন বরিশাল বিভাগের উপকূলী জেলাসহ ১০ নম্বর মহাবিপদ সংঘের দেয়া হয় জেলাগুলো হইল ভোলা বরিশাল পটুয়াখালী পিরোজপুর ঝালকাঠি বরগুনা এবং খুলনা বিভাগের হুগলি জেলাগুলোতে ১০ নম্বর মহাবিপদ সংকেত দেয়া হয় জেলাগুলো হইল খুলনা বাগেরহাট সাতক্ষীরা এবং সফটওয়্যার বিভাগের জেলাগুলোতে ৯ নাম্বার মহাবিপদ সংকেত দেয়া হয় জেলাগুলি হল কক্সবাজার চট্টগ্রাম ফেনী নোয়াখালী লক্ষ্মীপুর চাঁদপুর এবং জলোচ্ছ্বাসের ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রভাবে জলোচ্ছ্বাসে সতর্ক দেয়া হয় জেলাগুলো হলো কক্সবাজার চট্টগ্রাম ফেনী নোয়াখালী লক্ষীপুর চাঁদপুর ভোলা বরিশাল পটুয়াখালী পিরোজপুর ঝালকাঠি বরগুনা বাগেরহাট সাতক্ষীরা খুলনা এসব উপকূলী জেলা গুলোতে জেলাগুলোতে ২০ থেকে ২৫ ফুট জলোচ্ছ্বাস হয় তখন ঘূর্ণিঝড়টি সন্ধ্যা নাগাদ বাংলাদেশের হুগলি জেলাগুলোতে ২৮০ কিলোমিটার বাতাস নিয়ে আঘাত করে ওই সময় অনেক ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয় অনেক মানুষ মারা যায়
