    Just a tip that I think will help: Diet plays a big role in skin care. Fruits and veggies are best and won't cause your skin to act out of balance. Make sure you also wash your pillow case like once a week. And make sure your moisturizers have pure chemicals just in case they are the ones breaking you out. Thank you for the review =)

      yes aloe for break outs as well if you ever get one , use FRESH ASS ALOE not "99% aloe gel" FRESH OFF THE PLANTS . I love to get a simple plant cut one up and cut the clear part (aloe) into pieces then soak in water to get rid of the yellow part of it cause I heard it's bad . now put the little pieces into a Ziploc bag.. after i put it in the freezer then wait until its frozen. pull it out and use one little frozen piece all over your face (preferably after you're done washing your face) hope this helps!!

I also use it to cleanse my face in the morning and at night. Just using Witch Hazel is better than using all that goop and don't scrub with a towel to dry, just pat.

I use it 3 times a day (when I wake up, middle of the day, and right before I sleep) so far it’s working well :) my skin is almost clear. Clean and Clear isn’t good for all skin as I’ve noticed I break out from it as well as many other people who have used it.

  • @trisherrrthebangtantrash2230

    Just a little tip, maybe use more than one cotton pad for each section of the face, left cheek, right cheek and forehead. That way no bacteria from any acne is spreading onto other parts of the face. Also try patting in the toner after you apply it for extra absorption. Patting is also way more gentler than rubbing. X

    I’ve never used witch hazel before, I’m trying it out now because it says it will relieve redness. Which I have a lot of. Anyways, one thing I noticed in the label that concerns me is that this witch hazel contains 14% grain alcohol. When I used alcohol based products I get a lot more flakey dry skin. So we’ll see how that goes. One thing that works for me, to keep my pimples at bay, is to oil cleanse at night and use a gentle soap when I shower in the morning. I use pure argan oil, sunflower oil or apricot kernel oils. I rub my face with the oil, using it to remove my makeup, then used a paper towel to wipe off the oil. When the paper towel gets mostly used up and is softer I will buff my face with it. Then I will get a clean paper towel and make sure I get the remaining dirty oil off my face. After that I just moisturize using only like 1-2 drops of argan oil only. I don’t use coconut oil, I found it was too heavy for my skin, but a lot of people swear by it for oil cleanse method. It is less expensive than argan oil. I still get pimples during my TOM but exfoliating nightly and using pure oils has helped my skin tremendously.

    • @rachelhall3892
      @rachelhall3892 Před 6 lety +2

      Oh, as far as soaps go, I don’t buy special cleansers, I will buy benzoil peroxide acne cleansers only if I’m having a major break out. On a daily basis though, I use handmade goats milk soap. It’s very gentle. I never use commercial made bar soap, it is too drying.

      Matt Crandall one month follow up: I haven't noticed a huge drop in the redness. However, I have noticed the overall condition of my skin has improved. It's not a huge difference, but it's such a small thing to add to my routine at such a small cost that I'm going to keep it up. Also, I've added rose water, because I'm not young and it's good for aging skin, :). Oh, you know what, the rosacea on my nose improved quite a bit! It was painful to the touch and I'd get rosacea pimples on my nose. But I haven't had any of that for a couple weeks. The redness is still there, but the rosacea pimples are gone. I will stand behind exfoliating though, that was by far the biggest help for my skin. I used to think it was a load of crap, but it really did help a ton. So good luck!

    Acne scars will only fade with time, or with chemical exfoliation. So with a lactic acid serum, AHA/BHA acid serum. Also licorice root extract as an ingredient will fade discoloration. Astringents won’t have a fading effect unless they have AHA acids in them.

    Do you sleep on your right side? If you do that can make it break out more. Change your pillowcase daily, this will keep bacteria away from your face. I think witch hazel is a good choice, it did help your skin in only 7 days. It will really take several months up to a year for all your scares to fade. Please don’t be impatient and you will have the skin you want. You might want to try a serum like TruSkin Tea Tree oil serum or the super Vit C serum both are great and inexpensive. I alternate between the two of them. The whole TruSkin line if full of wonderful products. Check them out on line or at Amazon. I am not trying to tell you what to do. Just offering suggestions for what has helped me. Good luck and don’t touch even the cotton pads unless your hands are clean!

    I just bought this witch hazel to use as a toner. But for acne I developed adult acne it was bad but I cured it by using old school "Noxzema" wipes. Clean your face exfoliate then use the wipes at first I had to use it 2-3 times a day but after a couple weeks once a day. Just spray evian facial spray or organic rose water afterwards to moisturize your skin. Whenever I get a pimple here or there those noxzema wipes are a God send they can be drying but the rose water hydrates your skin

    Get yourself Retin-A. I PROMISE your scars will fade and permanently be gone. If you can get your hands on it make sure to be careful though, use it generously. It’s strong stuff. It literally peels your layers of skin for new skin to come in. I would recommend putting a pea size of it on your pinky and spot treating the scars. At night after you wash your face, DON’T pack it on just rub a thin layer over each spot. Those spots you are treating will start to peel like you have a sunburn. Everyone skin is different so find what works for you. Whether it’s spot treating every night, every other night, OR using a pea size of Retin-A all over your face BUT MAKE SURE to dilute it with a moisturizer. Good luck! :)

    I noticed that clean n clear face washes make my acne pop out more. You should try using cetaphil or a more gentle cleanser. I have sort of oily skin and it works well for me. If you want to try another way to remove acne and scarring, i found aloe works super well. Apply some straight from the plant onto your face and let it dry. You can then sleep on it and wash it off in the morning. I found this works really well.

  • @NazaninExplore
    @NazaninExplore Před 5 lety +1

    I get it, you should stop using the brush bacause it keeps scratching your skin if you know what i mean. And to stop scarring you must touch the pimple as less and soft as possible 😔
    -Also important you don't wash your face with chemicals, we accepted it but our skin usualy rejects it and fights to remove it.
    -Did you know a pimple is like medicine for the skin, it comes to remove what is not good.
    -wash after bed but more importantly after being in the polluted outside, unless you live on a island ;)
    -It should work, use it for one month every day and after once or twice per peek.
    + drink more water, fruits & veggies, it helps.

    Witch hazel isn’t breaking you out. However, What could be happening is when our faces clear up sometimes we reach a point where it gets really bad and then all of a sudden goes away

    I’m someone who can relate to you as I’ve struggled with acne still to this day. The number one mistake I can say your doing is over cleaning your face and that’s a big NO when you have acne. I have oily skin and i know when you have acne you just wanna scrub away and pray that it goes away but if you continuously use a spin brush and a strong cleanser for your face, it will clear up your skin the first few days but irratation will occur which is why your broke out more. The best option is to only exfoliate once a week, in addition, I found it best to have a rest day on your skin which means you only clean your face with a light gentle cleanser like cetaphil or even water, you could add in a moisturizer possibly but that’s it! It allows time for your skin to heal and repair itself from the continuous cleaning from the days prior. Even two days of just a rest day can clear your skin tremendously. If you also have sensitive skin like me the best option is to clean your skin once a day. And morning just use water. It prevents over drying and lastly if your still struggling use a local topical cream that is meant for acne. You can find it at a drug store and it really help make those stubborn pimples go away! I wish you the best on your journey and I hope that you get clear skin!!

    for everyone to know, witch hazel brings everything out of your face. so like, itll draw the dirt and gross stuff out of your face, meaning itll get just a little worse, but after that itll all clear up. ive used this product for a while and ive been through some stuff but i must say my face has cleared up so much!

    In the mornings everyday I use the morning burst to clean my face then I moisturize with Palmer's and jergens mixed together. Then at night when I get in the shower I clean my face with just a white dove bar soap then I apply witch hazel. And I drink NOTHING BUT WATER. and it's really helped my skin A LOT. oh and I try not to touch my face as much as I can. This is what has worked for me. I have a mix of dry and oily skin.

    Just a friendly tip, I highly suggest not using acne washes like clean & clear for example. Try using dove bar soap, it doesn’t strip your natural oils. Also the brush your scrubbing your face with, use it once a week. Your over exfoliating, which isn’t good . :)

    Sometimes our stomach acid is too low and it contributes to acne. I tried eliminating dairy, meat, and drank lots of water while eating fruits and veggies and still saw break outs and pimples. Then I tried betaine hcl supplements which help raise acid levels in your stomach to help break down food better for digestion and my acne and pimples cleared up. I paired it with apple cider vinegar pills once a day after a full meal and its worked so well. I also use which hazel and a hypoallergenic perfume and dye free aloe Vera face wash. Just my two cents 🙌

    I've always had problematic skin, acne and darks spots. I realized my clarasoinc was too harsh. So I stopped. But what really helped clear me up was Cerave SA Renewal cleasnser. It's has Salicylic acid, so it exfoliates while cleansing (very gentle). I only use it at night though. You can do day and night but it may be too strong at first. For morning wash I use a higher end gentle foam cleanser by Caudalie.
    I always broke out from Clean n Clear and Clinique. I also noticed Witch hazel breaks me out too. My skin is doing wayyy better right now thank good as far as breakouts. Now these dark spots are another task lol. If you try that cleanser I hope it works for you. Oh and you need to have a good moisturizer.

    One thing I noticed in your video is that you put it all over your face but a lot have skin specialists reccomend to only apply it on individual areas with the cotton pad so maybe try that if you want better results also, I really enjoy your videos so I subscribed! Keep up the great work and I hope you get 1k soon.

    Girl two cups of water is NOT ENOUGH!!!! I drink a gallon a day, and I'm trying to work my way up to 1.5 gallons. I don't have severe acne and I never did, but I did struggle a little with my skin and drinking TONS of water has shown a significant difference. I'm not saying you have to drink a gallon a day because it is a lot, but AT LEAST 8 CUPS. Drinking two cups of water a day is dehydration, acne or no acne.

    i recommend that you use PURE NATURAL aloe vera on your skin. don’t but the gels from the store you need to use the actual leaf from the plant. i swear by it, it works so good. a bunch of other skin care products have so many chemicals that we don’t know about. aloe is all pure use it for a week and i bet you’ll see improvements!
