I have an extremely specific memory of this song, the year was 2007, I was 8 years old, and my mom had just picked me up from school on a super rainy day, she had this playing on the cd in the car, and we were headed to the mall , I get a little emotional, it's such a calm and sweet memory 💙

Looking back, George Michael was the soundtrack of my formative years, and I came to judge all other music against the impeccable standards he set. I find it so touching that others look back on magical experiences of their own, with George Michael's songs providing the backdrop. This was so ahead of it's time! I remember watching this video in 2006 when I was 20 and pregnant with my now 17 yr old daughter! I was so scared and uncertain of my life then, and George had always been a voice of calm to me even as a young child, and watching and listening now in 2023.....just blows my mind! He was amazing and his music always brings a smile to my face, and now a tear to my eyes. We can only wonder what he would've been coming up with now. But thank God we have what he left us. 🙏🏻❤

The press had a huge downer on George and Andrew in their Wham! days cos they wouldn't play the press's game - which is how come there are all the horrible stories about Andrew being a hanger on, etc, and when it became obvious to the moronic journalists that George was the best songwriter ever they were really grudging about it as they couldn't bear to admit they'd been wrong. It's very bad that one group of talentless idiots could have such power. That's at least one good thing about social media, that we can hear the truth about people.

I'll never thank enough my mother, she introduced me to George's music. After his death, my mother passed away three years later.

The moment I heard "Amazing" all that I could think of was in which song I had heard the "dadadadada" thing before....

December 25, 2016...I was in San Francisco for the holiday and awoke to a text from one of my best friends telling me that George Michael had died. I felt a chill from within myself, but couldn’t stay in bed. I sat by the window, and as I peered out at the gloominess of the San Francisco Bay morning, I thought of how his music had been such a distinct aspect in my life. His music was there whenever times were happy and light as well as dark and lonely. I said a quiet thank you for all he gave of his life, and I wished him peace. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but when people ask which celebrity death hit me the hardest, it was George Michael hands down.

I think GM is amazing the way he writes such great lyrics even for his catchy, radio-friendly 'pop' songs! Not to mention he's an incredible singer and a brilliant musician who plays most of the instruments on his albums and even oversees the recording, mixing, and mastering... a real perfection and an amazing dude. Waiting for another album, George...

I know it’s crazy but i discover George Micheal this year. Since every day I’m listening his music and sometimes . I can feel different type of emotion, sometimes for no reason i just Miss George Micheal, i can feel his soul. I never had that with any artist or singer

Помню как на МTV смотрела разную музыка и многое мне тогда нравилось.Но я хорошо помню момент,когда я плакала, когда показали видио с песней Джорджа One more try. Это со мной раньше такого не было ,глубокого чувства,хоть я и язык английский не знала,потом я узнала ещё и стихи
прекрасные.
Потом после 90-х я потеряла Джорджа Майкла, только его скандалы сообщали и иногда показывали некоторые видео,где он доказывал,что он ещё классный артист.Да и у меня была жизнь тогда бурной,что не очень до музыки было...
Потом меня его смерть шокировала и я опять вернулась слушать Джорджа Майкла.Многих его песен даже я и не знала,которые для меня сейчас любимые.
