This Seymour has the best "heart of stone" riff among all the other casts imo
At first I didn’t like Lauren because I Stan nat nat, but I think Lauren’s becoming one of my favorites

Some people emote with their hands. Some people emote with their face. Some people emote with their body. Shaka is in the later category for sure. I don't think she would know how to not have that much energy.

No, I'm not. I'm being genuine. There's women of all different sizes, sexualities and colours in the musical. It's truly amazing and I wish we could see more inclusivity in theatre.

Honestly, it was the best birthday I could’ve wanted! First time seeing Lauren, Maddie and Shaka aswell and it was INSANE!

Anyway, people really need to start cheering for the ladies in waiting louder. They deserve just as much attention and love at the queens!!!

@@evancunningham The other have also point out that the two queens who got divorced have the pointy crown on their head, two queens who was beheaded have chocker and two queen who out lived Henry wear pants/shorts where other queen wear skirt or those skirt like thing on top. I don't know if it is intentional or not but I think it is such a nice small details. 😊

@Someone 333 except the part about the black seymour. idk if it was the director’s decision or her own, but carly dyer isn’t going to be our first black seymour, she was replaced by caitlin tipping (bliss 1.0 seymour)
also jodie left and is being replaced with vicki manser (oc west end alt, principal Howard)
athena also left and is being replaced with elèna gyasi

And there is also alternates in every cast aswell that go on if one of them are sick

Its the characters names lol, each lady in waiting was named after an actual historical lady in waiting if henrys

I’d be so upset if I went to six for the first time and there was an alternate, like don’t get me wrong I love them they’re great but if I was so excited to see Jodie I’d be really upset if there was an alt idk 🤷♀️
I’ve seen at least one alternate every time I’ve been to a show, Six and other shows, it’s an alternates job to do the show when the principal cast member cannot. I was really happy to see Jen (again), as she and Jodie are both amazing! (This night Jodie was off ill) I think alternates deserve as much love as principal cast members.

Part of the appeal of Six is the alternates. Every actress puts their own unique spin on the role, I'd be disappointed if I saw it and didn't get an alt tbh. They're all so special and fun, and the talent it takes to cover so many different roles is insane. As someone who has listened to hours of audio bootlegs, megasixes, etc of this show, I can honestly say that my favourite takes on most of the roles come from alternates.
