Herding Sheep with a DRONE in ICELAND | Réttir

Every september there is an event happening in Iceland called réttir. It's gathering of the sheep from the mountains back to their farms. Farmers go on horses and bring them to these structures that are usually round or oval and each farmer has his own place where he can take his sheep from the whole crowd. They recognize them by their tags in the ears, sometimes by the ears that were cut in a specific way when they were born.
This video is about a smaller réttir, since our farm doesn't need to send sheep to the mountains - we have enough space on the property. But it's a look inside how réttir looks like. We have maybe a total of 200 sheep but it still takes a lot of effort to take them all since they scramble all around different corners of the property as they are roaming freely the whole summer.
