    Ty for the vid. Surprised I'm the first to drop a comment. I think many will go for the new signature series over this just for the lower price, albeit the lack of usb and 32 bit float recording. You have a choice of colors instead.
    They both share the same analog circuitry.
    But in tests I've heard, the usb floating point sounds noticeably better than the xlr. So that is deciding factor to go with the 5th gen.
    You are also paying for extra versatilty with the nt1 5th gen.
    So if you can benefit from that!
    If you prefer the 5th gen for far less than brand new price, and potentially less than the signature, my advice is to find one used, in mint condition from a reputable seller or shop.
    I picked one up for £90 which is less than the signature is new and obviously benefts from the extra features and verstility 🎉
