Nice video. For me, doompriest makes it into the must build category. Time and time again she just comes back as such a strong support, especially since a lot of PVE is debuff-centric now more than ever. That passive is so simple yet so effective and really only exists on like 2 other champs in the game.
Agreed....difficult to find a place in the game where that passive on Doompriest isn't useful.
Whisper is a must build for any account at any level.
I would say bump up Psylar. She can be used anywhere you would use LysandraKimi if you don't have Lysandra/Kimi or in addition to one of them. A3 decreases turn meter by 40% and throws up a reduce speed. A1 and A2 are AoE so you can throw a stun set on her for added CC. Also AoE decrease Accuracy on A2. Amazing for Dark Fae.
Nubs come on man dark kael is a must build he is solid in any content you put him in
I think ostrox is the one you need to look at more closely. Void 3 turn block buffs on a 3 turn CD.
Nice job on part 2. I completely agree with your picks here
Dark Elves Epics - for Faction Wars I would include a reviver, either Kaiden or Fang Cleric. Also, Captain Temila carried me through a lot of Faction Wars with the healing and Ally Protection. I'd guess you picked up a legendary and didn't have to worry about it but I got pretty screwed with Dark Elves FW with almost no Legendaries and zero revivers so I had to try everything.
i have lydia, had no rezzer for DE faction...nor did i for ogre
Thank you so much for this video. I love your content!
I do love ranking videos. This is a fantastic resource copy and paste for future reference save so much time when your up to your ears in epics. Thanks Nubs.
Pretty fair choices nubs! I guess I'd add mausoleum mage as a highly recommend, not because any ofhis abilities are completely unique, but because of how much support he brings to different teams and his ability to enable really powerful teams. because of his impressive aoe cleanse with heal and awesome triple aoe buffs (Def,Blockdebuffs, critrate) on a 3turn cooldown which enable seer teams and defense-based nukage among other things.
Great video, i like the style of this. Of course there are a few conations choices etc. but you did great :). One call out - Gwyneth of the dark elves epics
I think kinagashi deserves a highly recommend at least...she has revive, turn meter drop, and team attack which was absolutely clutch for FW.
Flannan became a must have for watchers.
He is my goat for early Fae and slapping him in a stun set if you want that extra control, not only that but also nice for Fire knight with his team up and two hitter A1 with meter decrease, a small version of speed debuff which if triggered on multiple enemies has a 50% for an extra turn, that's very nice.
He already got a stun in his A1 too.
He even buffs a small accuracy buff, making him quite literally the only rares alongside Kurzad that can do that.
Also defensive! I slapped him in a guardian set made him my speedy tank, might end swapping him for stun set, very reliable.
Interesting, need to test Flannan, thanx for the shout!
Nia is great if you have two, they can reset each other and bonus heal. In reflex and reset gear. That and if you have someone with a 3 turn you want to spam they enable some fun teams.
I think Crimson Helmet should totally be a must build. AE revive on death is super strong, also tripple hit, etc. so much value.
Im a big fan of Duhr, super helpful in a faction lacking revivers. After Saph converted me I have Whisper as a must build now too
Wish I had him on my main account for this reason alone. Got him on a couple referral accounts, and he is solid.
Awesome content! I was really happy to hear Croidan get so high praise, he´s my next 60 due to FW (just 4 stars away from Lydia), and for FK hard. Anywhere else you´d recommend using him?
Ill put in mycilliac priest orn as he can solo dragon, icegolem, and mino which is good for lvling up champions and i havent used anax but ive heard he is a very very very good champion.
Would like to know your thoght on priest orn maybe im blinded by bias
Kinagashi is great, not many (any?) revivers in Shadowkin, hits ok and mini ally atk all useful in few places.
Flannen is brand new and really good! check out his kit!
Agree.
People have been calling him a budget Gnut.
This was really helpful! Thanks for the video! Could you do the same for Legendaries?
A counterpoint video commenting on champs that are 'traps' would be nice. Champs which have important utilities somewhere in their kit but should not be immediately built for those utilities if they are the first option you manage to get.
Savage on the dark elves. Love Dark kael and Serris
Serris is a must build for sure eapecially before you acquire Lydia.
I agree with almost all of these, but my boy Orn is an ez recommend. He helped me solo so much content, I even use him over Teodor most of the time.
I love Orn for sentimental reasons. He was the first unit that I was able to fuse. Bringing him back into arena for poison. I love seeing hp melt away.
Dark kael definitely must build on f2p/budget
Under Shadowkin you should have mentioned Burangiri for the same reason you mentioned Lady Anabelle. The ability to solo Bommel. Burangiri allowed me to progress in Doom Tower because of this.
Glad to see the "mullet" coming back 😂😂
You’re sleeping on buringiri in shadowkin! Aoe stuns, provoke a1 and strengthen
Vildrax is the most underrated epic in the game especially in Hydra. Very attainable champ, 100% aoe hex, aoe debuff extensions, leech. He does 40-50m out of the 150m damage every week on my Hydra hard team.
Psylar and Runekeeper, especially if you were having 'a brand new account' are really really good and definitely a must build for me.
I feel you definitely undervalue Skimfos, he can be really good in many areas, esp. earlier game, but I also still use in Dark Fae. Fellhound I have never built, I had Queen Eva originally, now my Arena Skullcrown campaign farms fine so I don't need to waste resources on a specialist. Dark Kael I would say 'must build' although everything depends who else you have, since I got two Teodors mine sees less usage. Demytha is one I eventually built, but have never once used. If you aren't doing a specific clan boss team she's not all that useful. Psylar is an absolute must build too. For Doom Tower Hard progression especially she's amazing.
Plenty that are must builds for me that I wouldn't say for all, but Skullcrown, Sinesha and Gala Longbraids on my account are all 6-star blessed and I use them in loads of content.
You dont have a miscreated monster!! Wholly RNG hell.
I would put Madame Serris or Rian the qonjurer as must build! Madame is INSANE in arena. Buff strip and increase your damage on them. Madame also does decreased attack and a bunch of fear. She is the reason I got to Plat Arena on my F2P.
I think not giving Madame Serris a must build is a low rating. Yeah polymorph is rife in high end arena but most people aren't there
i was super shocked that Serris was not a must build, she has been in my arena team since i pulled her years ago
ill forgive you for not including him fot at least a recommended as you dont have him but Duedan the Runic from the Sylvan Watchers is really handy as a control champion. has a Taunt buff on his A3 with a strengthen and counter attack for him, a little bit of debuff removal on the A1, shields that scale of his HP as an HP champion and buff extention on the A2. i think hes at least a highly recommended champion for his support and control utility and you dont need any accuracy on him. really easy to build
I would love a video on the Epics you should build multiple of
I was screaming at you that Toragi is a must build before you chose him. Glad you heard me ;)
Any chance you have an actual list breaking this down by faction, and must build vs highly recommended? That would be great to have access to for my clan.
Fraction Wars have advanced question to use 1 rare - so it would be helpful to mark at least 1 rare per fraction that is good enough to stay in the roster just for sole purpose of being automatic quest filler
Was definitely surprised you didn't pick Dark Kael.
Runic Warder helped my early fk progression a lot. I’d recommend him.
isn´t Petrifya from DemonsSpawn worth build? i think she can match frozen banshee damage in CB
feel like gorgorab is a must until you get arbiter on a newish account
not must build but lifetaker has unironically helped me a bunch
except for spider what stuff can you cheese with paragon? I have one but have no problem with spider, was wondering if I can use him somewhere
Nightmare campaign, final boss.
WHisper is a must build. the dmage she does is crazy evenin the late/endgame
I built lifetaker from shadowkin faction last night... She has a 100% heal reduction on a double hitter for her A1... I was struggling in spirit potion keep before i built her
I think my only disagreement would be madam, I’d put her as a must build, not that many buff strip options unless you get lucky and have a legendary that can do it. Thanks for the videos!
Nub sleeping on Burangiri and Orn. Both strong solo picks for struggling accounts. Maybe not must build but definitely worth the shout out.
i would bump up fyr-gun isabeil. probably my favorite bomb champ especially for bommel since she can place weaken and bombs back to back
Neldor built semi fast with CR/CD/ACC...single handedly changed my FKH teams
I think Lifetaker can be a useful champion for Fire Knight, if you dont have better ones.
Ostrox boneglaive is a better uugo nubs. Better than most the ones you picked imo. Slots right into hydra as an affinity friendly block buffs on a potential 4 turn with masteries.
hey, can you show some tactics for cursed city p10 (rotation 4) - its really anoying :((
Snubbing my little mushroom buddy, Orn. :(
I was waiting for him, too.. :(
I'd like to shout out Longsword Torrux - a rare from Knights Revenants. Could fall into the recommended category.
Dirandil is way under rated tbh, how I have him built he is a beast and will always use him
i expected to see anax as honorable mentions ..he carried me a loot in clan boss and other dungeons..he is great dmg dealer with a lot of debuffs
a stun lua is absolutely brilliant, by the way.
Pann smacks real hard... excellent multipliers, better than some lego atk champs...
not having Hotatsu as a must build is such a crime.
Good list but I think Anax at least deserves a recomendation.
Knight Revenants: Torux (Rare) great champ (esp. Hydra)
yeah agree with banshee. she was nice to have but i didnt really need her
Spider is the only character i have that does def down and weaken AoE and he does attack down AoE. id recommend.
_HELLGAZER is a good starting NUKER..._
_Regardless what anyone thinks she is awesome,_
_...Hellgazer's kit is also closely like my equally favorite champ Whisper !_
What would help me is a "must build unless you have..." list.
Burangiri is a must build for me.
Anax is one of the best CB dmg dealers!
Cadaver still usefull in hard secret room, he can solo it so it's good not to build 5 rares to pass just 1 mission for ramantu
I don't know how you forget rare champion longsword torrux he is massive
Probably should break it down between early, mid, and late game. I’m new and lvl 52. You are not recommending Champs that do major dmg. Exp; Magus in a poison set will probably out dmg everybody on your team.
Luria is pretty good, at least early game. but Coldheart is just so much better, but she's not early game... or.. well, I've been playing 1½ months and I recently pulled her so... yeah. If I was F2P I would probably not have pulled her yet. I have Luria on one of my other accounts, she's decent for sure.
Are we just going to forget about Anax, Fodbor and Burangiri?
4:13 Ostrox is very good in Hydra, he is in my hard team... 4.5/5
My boy anax is a nasty carry-debuffer 😢
Yes. Gorlos
Imagine almost skipping Toragi.
I disagree with Felhound, there are so many champions that clear camping, sure he does it 2 sec. faster than most but is it really worth building him for 2 secs. ?
Bro madame serris is must build
Mate seriously you're missing out loads, genbo is a must build, you need to consider fw too and cursed city
Bro how could you not put Ashwalker as a must build Ash will be so sad :(
4:30 no Anax?
12:35 Genbo is amazing. I always have a problem when my opponent uses it in the live arena.
13:40 Nia is highly overrated in my opinion. I have it with 5 stars and it is not very useful.
dude undeadhoard Anax is MVP in my team 50 days in.To not even mention him?
How can you not even mention Anax? 😅
PREIST ORN IS GOD LOVE THE VID
I have 3 alures
#4 Skip
Seriously? Frozen Banshee is highly recommended but Urogrim is a maybe? You're killing me here, man. 😅
Edit: Also, yes, Miscreated Monster is 100% a must-build champ, no questions asked, period.
i'd say fellhound is mandatory, he saves SO much time compared to everyone else, it's critical for every account to build one
I have Queen Eva for Campaign
Not even close to mandatory. So many champs capable of doing the job in only a couple seconds more. If you’re pulling enough shards to have gotten him, chances are you’ve already pulled someone that can do the job. Your starter champ should be sufficient anyway. Fellhound is a luxury build.
@@charlesklein6399 a couple of seconds more adds up, also fellhound is really easy to gear up. Other champions are slower, harder to get, harder to gear up or a combination of those. There's no beating hellhound, it is mandatory
@@gamingpc5459 Even if you’re saving three seconds a run, if you’re doing 150 runs, that’s only 7.5 minutes. Are you doing that many runs? Is your day that busy?
I've been playing for years, and Fellhound is the ONLY rare I've never pulled.
ANAX!!
I'm 50/50 on this video.
It's hard to respect this type of content.
I'm a clan leader for a free to play / new player clan and these videos indirectly shadow so many good and useful Champs. I'm always trying to help my clan mates with thier teams and this content (without a disclaimer) hinders their creativity for team building.
