This is personally one of the best modern Bumblebee figures I've seen in a while! The overall design is simple (perfect for my artstyle), the paint apps. are good, and the back-kibble is damn near perfect! It's a great 9/10 from me! Next to SS 100 'Bee, this is definitely my ideal Bumblebee figure.
Big fan of that head sculpt. The overall design reminds me of the Generations Thrilling 30's deluxe Bumblebee.

I liked the Cyberverse Design for looking like a mix of G1 and Movie Universe Bumblebee but this one looks even better and I'm definitely getting it as soon as it launches.

i don't see G1 in there at all.
The head sculpt just look like the G1 but it's not even close.
i hate this model, like most recent bumblebee molds.

Top Bumblebee character, I loved this guy in the show! Glad they gave him such a nice figure.
God I hope we get all the Earthspark characters in figure format on collector's grade! They deserve it.

I'm amazed at how nice this figure is. I just picked it up and I think this is the NICEST yellow plastic Hasbro has done in ages. It's so opaque that the richness of the shade of yellow they used really makes the details stand out in regard to the sculpt. I do agree that the articulation hurts a bit, mainly for me it's the neck. The ability to have the figure look down would be nice. I can live without the wrists or waist joints. Additionally the yellow peg poking through the front wheels is an eyesore. This guy reminds me of the previous animated BB, but also of the Thrilling 30 design, only good in comparison.
Earth spark bumblebee, has to be one of my favorite versions of the character. He’s such a lovable dork and I love him. 💛🖤🐝

Given the plastic quality, color deco, and engineering on this figure, I’d honestly go as far to say that this figure goes pretty well with any of the figures from Transformers Generations (With the exception of Studio Series, but that’s for obvious reasons).
With the exception of the exception that is Studio Series being Studio Series 86.
It reminds me of the Thrilling 30 version of Bumblebee that we got several years ago. Great review, Prime VS Prime!

I have the goldfire and i really like it mostly because of the vehicle mode i love the muscle car look.
I still got that but the legs are extremely loose

@@PrimeVsPrime yeah, wish they did better with Megatron, especially since this is the first time we’ve seen an actually good Megatron on screen, and it’s not the Shattered Glass version or the IDW version, it’s not good for ol’ Megs

I adore Earthspark’s character designs, they’re even more stylized than IDW. This head mold for Bee is superb
This Bumblebee Is Looking SICK!!!. This have been a best bumblebee figure ive seen. The design is great, similar to cyberverse bumblebee, and the Assewome Wings! This bumblebee figure have. I hope to buy this very soon.

11:22 Fun fact: There would've been even more animated versions of Bumblebee, if Hasbro didn't lose their trademark to Bumblebee in the early to mid 2000's (as Unicron Trilogy's Hot Shot was conceptually named Bumblebee) and they didn't get it back until 2006, after the Unicron Trilogy concluded.
Yep! And, I believe originally Transformers Animated Bumblebee was meant to be Hot Shot, but they made him Bumblebee since they got the trademark back and put him in the live action movie. Does anyone know if Hot Shot was actually used in place of Hot Rod for a name for similar reasons?
@@michaelphillips5424 Yes. In the WFC: Autobots DS game, Rodimus was named Hot Shot, due to them losing the trademark to Hot Rod until 2016. (just in time for The Last Knight and Cyberverse)

This Bumblebee figure is actually interesting. It’s unique transformation, and better quality plastic made me think that I‘ll get one. But has some flaws though, especially the lack of wrist rotation.

Got color difference is different kinda like Sunstreaker earthrise. Nice alt mode and really good change engineering. Will definitely pick up when under retail. Thanks for your review
Haven't bought a mainline Bumblebee since the first edition release Prime with the exception of MP movie Beetle Bumblebee. First off given the last handful of simpler deluxe releases this has a pretty stellar design. Really ingenious way to hide the feet in this transformation, and I like that the plastic, and the durability have been improved from previous releases. Paint/detail overall looks really good, but still miss the days of properly pinned wheels/painted rims especially on a toy that costs about double what it did during Prime's run. Also big plus on the simple transformation which was a real low point for me on the Prime release.

That's a cool and unique vehicle mode. The robot mode is not bad at all. It's the best bee I've seen out of the animated inspired figures. i'll still take the Prime version any day though. That series and its figures were excellent.
This looks really good. And I’m definitely adding it to my collection for a transformers stop motion series I want to make
I searched for this thing for awhile, finally found one today lol, and yeah it is absolutely the only one I really like. I might pick up Megatron as well but I really want shockwave. Great video Prime, big fan.😂
Earthspark is honestly a pretty good run of toys the Optimus figure is pretty good and shockwave looks pretty good

I just got Bee today. The earthspark version is an awesome figure and easy to transform like the others.

I was hoping you'd give us a look at this one. Thank you! I might have to pick one of these up for me and for the kiddos. I'm really waiting to see how the rest of the line looks. I still wish they'd make the bigger characters like Optimus and Megatron bigger in toy form as well though. Personally, I still think Transformers Prime Bumblebee holds up! I'd love APC to gives us both Bee and Bulkhead. :)

I actually liked that Cyberverse Bumblebee, but the plastic on it was painfully thin. You could easily see light through it! I'll gladly replace him with this guy though if he doesn't have the same problem. 👍
Agreed. The plastic on Cyberverse Deluxe Bumblebee (and most that line) was pretty bad. The transformations were a bit over complicated as well.
I absolutely love this Bumblebee. I don't stray from collecting WFC, Legacy, and Studio Series.. however, as far as a mainline figure? Hes def BANGIN' and i have him next to Earth Spark Shockwave, and I'm waiting for Starscream, and Grimlock. I wish i kept my Cyberverse Megs, Prowl, and Optimus.. i really do not like the Earth Spark insignia.. ugh. Great upload! He was my first figure to kinda make me start collecting again. I had a disaster, and lost over a thousand Transformers, and almost ALL the Hasbro Power Rangers.. im glad no one was hurt (both human, and animal alike!) But he definitely grabbed my attention. I wish they'd make a Sunstreaker like this! Now THAT would be a banger for sure! I can't find an Earth Rise. I am looking forward to the concept series of him, and he gamer Sideswipe!

Saw this guy at Target the other day but passed on him. Now I wish I wouldn't have. I do like the yellow color they painted him and it not looking like that bright light yellow we normally see. I need to watch this EarthSpark series. Also I am hoping that one third party company that has been doing the Transformers Prime figures does a Bumblebee and Ratchet soon.
Now I really hope they will make even more IDW based design after tarn and blur with the legacy Evo line:D

I'm an old G1 kid. But I collect a little movie stuff and like Beast Wars and Transformers Prime. I probably won't watch this show but I think I'll pick this guy up. It's a really nice design in bot and alt modes.

I wish they could’ve done the same thing they did with Cyberverse adventures Bee and attach the wings to that small little hinge joint. Other then that, it looks really good!

Damn this figure is actually pretty darn good... Was planning on picking up the cyberverse deluxe bumblebee but I think I'll hold off and get this version... Also definitely picking up Terran twitch and possibly Terran nightshade depending on how they turn out... Still great review and should definitely continue doing Earthspark reviews

To be honest I actually quite like Bumblebee figures too! I feel like in the last few years they’ve really toned it down :(

Earth spark Bumblebee is beautiful. There is no Hip joint but I might sacrifice for Good quality plastic and design. I loved that it can be displayed with Cyberverse Optimus. I might buy two copies of these

I have the bumblebee toy. It’s so cool and you’re right it’s definitely a cool toy. I don’t have lots of transformers only have bumblebee in Optimus prime and only have one broken Deceptacon barricade when I get more when I grow up then I’ll have lots of transformers toys.

The overall design is solid (Notwithstanding the exposed front wheel clips.) And the proportions are good. Could use another HOT ROD though. Bumble Bee has had his day yes?
After your Megs review, I didn't buy in to Earthspark. Since then, I've been rethinking that.
Ngl i think its great except the color of the back. Overral i love it! I wouldnt mind you reviewing some beast machines toys to not try to rage lol. Especially BM silverbolt....

damn, this looks pretty great actually. its proportional, wrists fold down the right way to hold a sword, ankles tilt AND rock, shoulder stalk balljoints, full fucking knee bends... if he had waist action he'd be perfect.

Not targeted to my age range (but then again, I'm old so many none are lol) but I actually quite like it! I'd have preferred it if the rear of the car was more streamlined but it's not awful and the lack of "mass" in the shoulders and upper arms annoys me less every time I see it! I think that potentially, though the power of your very good review, you might have sold me on this one!

Still prefer the robot mode of the Cyberverse version, but I'll have to pick this one up too for that wicked alt mode and the deep shade of yellow
one thing I don't understand is why make similar versions of already existing transformers except megatron if they are almost the same
I see your point to be honest. Yeah maybe they should’ve redesigned this a little more. I guess Bumblebee sells well so they’ll just always release his toy no matter how small the changes are

I cannot lie this whole earthspark thing is not bad at all. Really enjoyed the show, and there figure are coming out pretty good tbh. I’m still not in favor of earthspark optimus’s design in general
I’m not sure which I should get studio series rotb or this earthspark fig, they’re both nice molds, but I’m probably only gonna get one, I might get both, but for now I only want one and I’m not sure which

I like it... much more Hotshot than Bee for me, but not altogether half bad. A new head and torso would do wonders.
