“Are you dying of dementia?” Makes me laugh every time. Morty is so mean compared to the beginning.
I really really liked the way Morty fussed with Rick in this episode. It was not only just plain funny, but it also clearly shows a shift in Morty's character as he is arguing with Rick and actually voicing his opinion 😂
That 5 min silent story as far as i know wasn't even written by the writers XD, They just left a note to the animators to create a 5 min story and this is what they came up with
The entire amazing relationship was created as a filler because everything around it was too short to fill an episode.
5:30 Huh, Morty apparently ended up in Springfield briefly. That's Moe's Tavern from The Simpsons behind him.
Which means that moment takes place in the same universe as "My eyes! The goggles do nothing!" Acid = neon green in every cool universe.
4:34 That knowing look at the camera when Morty says he just wants to have fun...
five minutes of the sweetest Morty ever, and then ...
@@RedKytten I feel more hatred for Rick in this one than in any other episode.
"Say the vat of acid is cool." "The vat of acid is cool."
"Ahhhh Noooo, F*** Off Jerry!!"
Everyone's reaction.
@@tconlon251 Yeah this was entirely on Morty. When you reach a nice place you save or destroy the device.
He becomes a megalomaniac
"Don't get cocky. A cocky Morty is bad for everyone".. and the ground work is laid!
LOL! “I’m gone cry….. wait WTF”
Morty was happy 😊.
This one is pretty sad.
EVERY Rick has a vat!
Also the plane story was the idea of the director for that episode. Not Dan or Justin’s idea
Thanks to this episode, I can feel my fingers stick to my phone
the Morty "Goddammit" 10:28 Is my work ringtone
My favorite episode of the season!!!!!
Wub a lub a dub dub!
Heroin Keith is my favorite character, and he aaaaalways will be.
There should be a Paula shirt that just says "jeeze louise.."
We're just gonna dive in ... like it's a vat of acid.
Another quality vat video!
Did you notice Morty pushing the guy in the wheelchair? He is in front of Moe's from the Simpsons.
The plane crash was heavily inspired/a homage to the true story of a South American soccer team whose plans crashed in the Andes and had to eat dead relatives and friends to survive to rescue. Both the book and movie are titled “Alive” and are excellent.
Always leave it to Jerry to screw everything up
My favorite reaction by far! *italian chef fingerkiss*
Mortys gf is named Ethel
Easily...Best Episode Ever!
GOD DAMMIT JERRY! I don't think I can forgive him for that blunder. Was she ever named?
Do you wanna kiss grandpa? Make out with glorzo. Kiss the vat.
Somehow, this episode made me hate Jerry even more. Why in the world, after living with Rick for so long, would you think it's ok to just push a button on a random device you find
So instead of Rick who created this whole thing to punishes grandson just because of fake acid.........Jerry's the one to hate, right🤔
@@WillsonT011 didn't say it was his fault, just that it was a very stupid thing to do
On another note, this was one of the episodes where Rick is most unlikeable, because we are used to him being indifferent most of the time, and occasionally self-righteous, not so purposefully malicious and petty(just casually malicious and petty), but well, by this point we have already seen him mutilating rats for fun, and destroying an entire microverse out of spite, so it's not like this is a new low for him
F Rick!
I genuinely hate this episode with my whole heart... But it is on of the best of the whole series.
Fun fact: you can actually see that they are in alternative world - as the judge from the Death Crystals episode is alive here (in original episode she committed unliving after the trial to join her husband).
1:10 Technically you could have said that they won Emmy for this episode. But then again that could be a spoiler.
?? whats a galifrey ??
This is pointless, the dialogue is cut so I can't even follow the story.
The dialog got cut for a few seconds throughout because of music in the show. It was copyright striked. So we either post it how we did or no post at all
Goddamned piece of shit show, one of the most touching, poignant moments in the series and it was written purely and only to rub the fans noses in it. Between Dan Harmon and Jackson Publick no viewer is safe.
The Emmy Award winning Vat of Acid episode
