These yellow high heels shoe...the incarnation of the 80's...lovely era!
This brought back memories to my childhood. I was in 5 grade when the video Borderline came out. A lot of adolescents and preadolescents loved Madonna. She was so unique back then. A lot of girls at my school copied her style. Madonna brought the street fashion and dance styles into the mainstream.
Luv it takes me back Madonna s always been my favourite pop star 😮🎉
Thank you so much ET for filming this fantastic music video's behind the scenes back in the day... You have NO IDEA!!!... Behind the scenes of legendary music videos and movies give them a whole new meaning yo the word - NOSTALGIA!!!.... Big Cheers ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love madonna❤
Been a Madonna fanatic since 1986 and I have no problem with anybody liking anything they want about Madonna, regardless if it how she looks, dances, or sings. We live in a serious fun vacuum at the moment and nobody has the right to dictate how others enjoy music. Remember we will all be gone one day and nobody gets extra time in heaven for not enjoying life and making others unhappy or ashamed only reflects badly on Madonna's real fans.
Madonna ❤
Downtown LA 💯💯Filmed blocks away from my grandma’s house ❤️❤️
Was this filming location close to your grandmother's house?
Very very sweet nice cute special loving and adorable!❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Madonna forever beautiful 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Never realized that her long pencil skirt had a Keith Haring pattern art on it until seeing it in this video!
Yes, it's her iconic skirt. Amazing photoshots with this jewel 💚🖤💚🖤
Crazy thing is I think i’ve seen this video dozens of times over the last 30 years and I’ve known of Keith Haring‘s art, but I just never made the connection until now!
@@Mouse01011 lovely discoverings, always with M.
Primeira música da Madonna que eu ouvi na minha vida!! Apaixonei na hora... Quem é essa Madonna??? Nunca vou esquecer... Acho que foi setembro de 1984, por aí...
I’m just amazed when so-called Madonna “fans” post comments all over social media that they like Madonna in her early years when she “looked”so “cute” and “pretty”. Of course, we all look great in our younger years! Part of Madonna’s charm was her innate beauty-but more important was her creative artistry (that produced a staggering body of work captured in videos, albums, films and books); her charisma, drive, advocacy and her vulnerabilities as a person that she struggled with that we can all relate to. Her iconic status and influence in pop music and culture will transcend time, ageism and she’ll be admired in the future just like Beethoven, Bob Dylan, Mozart, Van Gogh, Puccini, Andrew Lloyd Webber, director Steven Spielberg, and other great artists. May fate continue to smile on her and give her many more years of happiness.
She broke barriers. Even in the Borderline video, she portrays a love affair between a white girl and a Latino, which for it's time was path breaking. She has always pushed the envelope!
@@Splash-nr8ot 5 years later in 1989, she would release the groundbreaking video of Like A Prayer-where in no uncertain terms she would advocate social justice, racial harmony, acceptance of multi-culturalism and of mixed-race relations-way ahead of the recent Black Lives Matter movement. None of her contemporary and later female pop music singers dared to tackle these issues in their songs for fear of the backlash and peril to their careers-but not Madonna. Of course, religious and conservative bigots and racist hate groups have and will vilify Madonna for her activism and advocacy. But most people and music/art lovers have moved on past the controversy and acknowledged how inspirational this anthem is. When all is said and done, Like A Prayer will be one of Madonna’s lasting legacy to post modern music and culture.
@@briandubois-gilbert8182 I couldn't agree more with you. Like a Prayer will always be remembered. I was amazed how the video added so many layers of meaning to the song...she rode the wave and paved the way for the younger pop princesses. May she continue to marvel all of us!
@@Splash-nr8ot I didn’t truly and fully appreciate the artistry of Madonna until this recent long pandemic lockdown when I started to do a “deep dive” into her videography of songs, concerts, interviews, and more-and the more I dig, the more I come to the realization that we have in Madonna a living music and cultural icon whose liberating influence will be felt for generations to come. In the span of the last 4 decades, she has amassed a staggering body of work that if she were an art painter-would fill up the Louvre in Paris or the Met in NYC like expensive artwork and her masterpieces as priceless works of art. Her physical form will change with age but her substance or essence like her artistic and heroic spirit will be timeless. Whatever she decide to do the rest of the way, to use an analogy-will be like dessert after the main course. I really hope that fate will continue to smile on her and grant her many more years of happiness. It’ll be a very, very sad day when she eventually “leave this physical space”.
I agree, she has evolved as an artiste, her first songs had a a more superficial, teen vibe, e.g. Crimes of Passion, Ain't no Big Deal, Burnin' Up, etc. to something so layered and deep as Like a Prayer or even Batuka.
Top madonna top anni 80❤💯✨👍

The guy who’s playing her boyfriend in the borderline video was one of her backup dancer for her Virgin Tour to promote her debut album Madonna 1983 completed 1984
@@mysticlight5846 actually is stage name is Louie Louie (Louie Cordero) and he is a not very well known musician. The two backup dancers and singers on Virgin Tour were Michael Perea and Lyndon B. Johnson.
@@antinoocp exactly! Louie never danced on her tour and he had a couple hits LIVING IN THE LAP OF LUXURY signed to Warner and went to Vegas to do his show. I am still in touch with his family.
What?
This is the song the migrants sing to Trump when cross the borderline.
As someone born in the 90s, finding this song after being that it references her BPD- borderline personality disorder…. It feels different. I love this even more
