Urban fishing…. Now you are speaking my language. My PB trout were caught at Ballast Point on the boat ramp dock. Two 19+ inch trout back to back. Busy evening at the park too. Had a little audience. Bouncing a Z man slamshady paddletail off the bottom.
I used to fish there all the time for snook. Messed my leg up on oysters 200 yards to the East of the area your at. Fish do cruise that sea wall. But it’s a very pressured area.
Back when the old strip was still there the stone crabs were thick behind the Red Lobster restaurant because they would throw seafood waste in the water.
🌴 So this is a good way to start the new year , ya I know the weather is crappy , the wind is blowing , and the tide ain’t work’n in your favor , but your catching fish ! And ya got to spend time with our buddy bush , that area where you were catching the trout looked real rocky I’m surprised you didn’t get hung up and broke off, that plastic shrimp is definitely working on them trout , 🤔 any plans on a new boat yet for 2024 ? 🤔
Love your videos. There are triple tail near your Davis Island spot but you need a kayak. My father-in-law made a reef out of rims welded together to form an igloo. Put it right off his house on Adalia. Triangulated it with road signs & his house. Then they did road work & moved the signs. Never got to fish it.

Hey Thonny I’m a local fisherman at Davis island and I don’t catch much can you recommend me some tips.
Use as little weight as possible and small hook. 15 lb test
If you’re targeting sheepshead off the seawall try to sneak up on them and use light tackle 10lb braid or lighter and 15-20lb leader. Free line crab
