i actually loved The Looney Tunes Show when it was still airing. it was a bit ahead of its time though. I think with the rise of so many terrible CN reboots, people would have been a lot more open to it if it came out today.
Yerm Terragon Well there are other reboots on Cartoon Network by Warner Bros. Animation besides Teen Titans Go! they are the Super Friends reboots which are Justice League (2001) and Justice League Action, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the Looney Tunes reboots which are The Looney Tunes Show and Wabbit (Only episodes 1-16 and 20-22), Thundercats 2011 and Beware the Batman.
I second that! Teen Titans Go pretty much ruined CN reboots.
+FardintheCartoonLover They aren't Superfriends reboots
Caleb Mayfield Well Justice League (2001) and Justice League Action are Super Friends reboots which Super Friends is the original show of Justice League.
+FardintheCartoonLover So Batman Brave and the Bold is a reboot of Batman TAS?
I wish they would bring back the Looney Tunes Show... I was rewatching recently and it holds up very, very well
How did u watch it?
@@MD-sf1st no that just has a similar artstyle. Its nothing like the looney tunes series
Yeah but its not as good as the original
TLS was low key one of the best shows CN put out in recent years. i really loved it and im so sad it doesn't have more than two seasons.
Definitely a very underrated show. As someone who had been growing into his young adult years, along with Regular Show, it was a very refreshing.
And Lola Bunny was an awesome character.
She sure was
The Looney Tunes Show really should have been on Adult Swim. It was hilarious, but felt a bit held back by young audience entertainment limitations.
That would be a bad idea imo and putting LT on AS of all things wouldn't feel the same, could you imagine Porky Pig cussing or Pepe Le Pew being even creepier to women?
Albert Flame Well Porky has sworn before (you can look it up). I don't think they should go super innapropriate, but rather go the Bojack route and handle some darker themes, while maintaining a ridiculous comedic edge.
@@albertthepeacock8020 ugh yeah it wouldn't work 😂
it was funny enough without needing to go into that territory
I love the Looney Tunes Show! I watched almost every new episode of the show on Cartoon Network starting with "Newspaper Thief." 😁
IT'S A HANDBAG!!!!! I love The Looney Tunes Show the best!
Fun fact! In Chuck Jones' autobiography, he said that Daffy's personality was lifted directly from Warner Bros' animated shorts producer, Leon Schlesinger, from his accent (though it was exaggerated by Mel Blanc) to his self-centered the-world-owes-me attitude. Chuck related that everyone in Termite Terrace gleefully worked on the short, until it dawned on them that they were actually going to have to show it to Schlesinger, and at that point it was too late to stop. So they all started writing out their resumes, assuming they were all going to get canned. Upon seeing it though, Schlesinger jumped up and said, "That duck's voice is hilarious! Where did you get the idea!" According to Chuck, he never made the connection.
Ruko Hanaji In Chuck Amuck, he noted Leon jumped up and said....JESUSTH CHRISSTHT, THAT"SSTH A FUNNY VOICTH! WHERE DID YOU GET THAT VOICTH???!!!
Lol!
He had no idea they were poking fun at him!
Anyone else miss The Looney Tunes Show?
I loved it every moment with Daffy was gold. And i liked the new character Tina. The only time the looney tunes were rebooted was just showing the classic over and over, baby looney tunes, loonatics unleashed, duck dodgers, Looney tunes show, and Wabbit, most of them sucked. The looney tunes show shoulda gotten a better shot.
Brew City me
no
Nope, moved on. I didn't really care for the sitcom setting. To me, that's not how Looney Tunes were meant.
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I was iffy about The Looney Tunes Show when I first heard about it, but I ended up really liking it after watching some episodes. I enjoy the episode where Bugs says, "I like it" for Speedy's pizza commercial, while Daffy helps Gossamer with his talent show. I think The Looney Tunes Show was a nice way to introduce the characters to a new generation, and it sucks that it was canceled.
As for Wabbit, I gave it a shot. I watched a few episodes, and honestly, I was bored senseless. I appreciate that they tried to bring back the slapstick, but only having Bugs and some random squirrel for the majority of the episodes, well, it gets old quick. I hate that the other characters only make minor appearances. I love Bugs, but it's not fun when it's just him. The Looney Tunes wouldn't be what it is without all the other characters. Making a show that mainly focuses on Bugs without the other characters around much doesn't seem right to me.
Personally I preferred the new looney tunes more then the original, mostly because i like how they associated the characters to a real life modern situations to change things up a bit
I LOVE the Looney Tunes Show!
I really liked The Looney Tunes Show when I was younger.
John Medrano you mean 6 years ago?
I STILL like it, it was even my dad's favourite cartoon at the time and he would legit sit down and watch it in his room XD
I was born in 2012 and The Looney Tunes Show was made in 2011 but when i was born i didnt know that Looney Tunes Existed.
The old Looney Tunes cartoons are timeless classics. Even after all this time, they're slapstick humor is still hilarious. That said, I still love The Looney Tunes Show just as much, if not moreso.
I don't really feel like you can accurately compare them on a stance of which is better. They have completely different styles of humor, and yet they both work so well, without having to compromise the characters personalities.
Wabbit, on the other hand, is terrible. Save for a few standout episodes, it's just not funny. It feels like a soulless cash grab, with an ugly art style, and doesn't come anywhere close to the originals.
Omg thank you. Praise!!🤧😍😭
You say the words I've been searching for all this time, really agree with this
This is a perfect way to say it
The only good thing in Wabbit is its version of Lola Bunny: a smart, funny and fearless bunny, it's like a mix of the original version and The Looney Tunes Show version
Personally, I think The Looney Tunes Show did a great job at portraying how the characters would behave in a more modern setting. The situations and jokes were relatable, and I think Daffy had the best personality (both in the new show and the old)
I like Daffy in the modern one, but Original Bugs will always be bae
Bugs Bunny's a champ.
Lol NO
New bugs will always be bae!!!!!
XD but I'm see where ya comin from gurl :3
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
oh no fangirls are gonna rob out bugs!
I love The Looney Tunes Show. I don't know why so many people hated it
Ahh what's up doc?
I can't stop watching This show XD
Olusegun Odunlami. My cholesterol.
You Despicable.
No,its- "Whats up Doc?",Though,its a easy mistake.
The Looney Tunes show was the best!
Lane Wilkinson I
But the old one, new one is meh.
I would rather have The Loony Toons Show over Wabbit.
When you end a cartoons running plot with a Toilet joke, I'm reaching for the remote.
Wabbit started rough, but got better. And it has the good Daffy again.
@@Medachod still not as good as looney tunes show daffy though
@@staticshock7376 If I count Classic Looney Tunes, Wabbit had a much better Daffy. The Looney Tunes Show Daffy is too unique to be categorized within the Looney Tunes shorts, mainly because they're full-length episodes and the format is entirely different. I can't compare anyone in that sitcom to their originals beyond mild similarities.
_TL;DR: TLTS Daffy is still pretty great, but in his own way from the classic LT._
@@Medachod I respect that. But for me, looney tunes show daffy felt like an extension of OG daffy. While wabbit felt like a retread for me
@@staticshock7376 Oh, certainly. It was a new personality. And he did occasionally have Screwball Daffy traits.
I grew up with the original looney tunes shorts, so I love looney tunes. I also don't get why the looney tunes show gets hate; it is comedy gold and it's hilarious. It's obviously not as good as the original shorts, but it's still a really good time.
I love both versions old and new
The Looney Tunes show is one of the most underrated shows that got canceled too soon like dan vs.
_Daffy Duck The Wizard_ short in Looney Tunes Show was EPIC!!
"The Looney Tunes Show" was a fairly solid program, but the original shorts are what I know and prefer best. Most attempts to break the characters out of seven-minute shorts tend to fall a bit flat because these guys weren't designed with too much depth in mind. "LTS" does do a good job in this regard, funnily enough; each plot is broken up into three distinct chunks that recall the format of the old "Bugs Bunny Show." For instance, in the pilot, we first deal with Bugs and Daffy preparing for the game show, act two has them losing the show and their friendship falling apart, and act three resolves everything on the cruise ship. It's one long story with digestible bits.
I love Looney Tunes! But I love the old ones not the new ones! I love the old style and the gags and jokes! Yet I love both, but I just love the old ones better! What do you think? Old or new?
Johnny Gaming old one all the way
Johnny Gaming old
New
Johnny Gaming old for me. The new is okay sometimes, but other times the jokes and episodes just don't get me invested
Old
The looney tune show was honestly a better series than wabbit. I like LTS for its serialized story and continuities
I grew up watching old Looney Tunes and loved modern Show. They're both great!
I like Wabbit(New Looney Tunes) better than The Looney Tunes Show because it the closes to the classic Looney Tunes Shorts especially in season 2. Probably why Wabbit(New Looney Tunes) got renewed for 3 seasons and didn’t even finished season 1 yet here in the USA.
The Looney Tunes Show was an... interesting take. I mean this in a good way. It was a good show. Same with New Looney Tunes, which is still on hiatus...
Looney Tunes Show was like the only reboot that was pretty good
I love the change in Lola.
Looney Tunes Show Lola>Space Jam
yeah she is the best character i've ever seen
The Looney Tunes cartoons from late 40's - early 60's are timeless though, so didn't need to be "updated"
I liked the Looney tunes show. I'm sad it ended.
I was so sad when I found out they cancelled The Looney Tunes Show. I really loved that show :(
I love the newer show. But I love the old show too! At a place I used to live we had a tape with black and white episodes on it, and I'd happily watch all of them XD
Probably my all time favorite cartoon..
The Looney Tunes Show was legendary. Would be a huge success if brought out again
It’s been a year, WHERES MY LOONEY TOONS?
Looney Tunes is still one of my childhood gems. New ones just don't have the same charm as the old ones did.
Just re-make Duck Dodgers, you know the catchphrase "DUCK DODGERS IN THE 24 AND A HALF CENTURY!!!!"
What's up doc?
Hunting wabbits. Huhuhuhuh
Loved The Looney Toons Show growing up!
I liked the new looney toons show
But I hate the “Wabbit”😡😑😒
Porky looks more obese than normal.
Wabbit is at least more closer to the originals than TLTS.
Wabbit is miles better. Screwball Daffy is in it and, well Porky being big is kind of funny, it does make him standout more than he did before.
I love daffy duck show where it had zoidberg episode
The Looney Tunes Show was my all-time most favourite one!
Bugs and Daffy where like the old Mordacai and Rigby I swear
TLS is near pure gold. I introduced this show to my fiancé, and she fell in love with it almost immediately. The characters and the writing are awesome and the backgrounds art is nice and original. My only complaint is wanting more from Marvin the Martian because I loved Duck Dodger back in the day. Other than that, the Bugs, Daffy, and Porky trio functions well.
I loved the looney tunes show.
I love the Looney Tunes Show! I with it wasn't cancelled. :/
Duck Dodgers is the best modern Looney Tunes based show
Im Loving This soundTrack
Looney Tunes was a big part of my childhood. My foster dad used to buy dvds that had over 10 hours worth of episodes on them. It wasn't even him that liked Looney Tunes either! My mom loves Looney Tunes and even has a Bugs Bunny watch she's had since the 90's. So when the reboot came along I actually did enjoy the Looney Tunes Show. I loved the animation style, grown up topics, and subtle dirty jokes. Honestly sad it's not on air anymore but that's okay :)
I completely forgot about the Lunatics.
It's concept honestly intrigues me.
it was trying to make the looney toons more edgy but there are some things that just can never be edgy
Maybe that was for the best.(responding to your first comment by the way)
cause it was awful
I'll always have a huge soft spot in my heart for the original cartoons but since I love sitcoms, I actually like the premise of The Looney Tunes Show. The Loonatics concept really intrigues me.
Man I loved the looney tunes show. I love the old ones too but the new take on it was great IMO.
It had plenty of jokes that was great for all ages. Think it was more appealing to adults.
Wassup Notification Squad?!
well if the merchandise wasn't sold it doesn't mean the rate will drop well at least i enjoy the looney tunes show a lot especially kirsten wiig had done some awesome voice which i shall never forget and jessica borutski had created a very good design and i'm impressed for her creativity and those of you getting some mixed reaction its very easy for them to say but to be honest they have done a big hardworking especially their voice actors and actress and finally that was the best looney tunes franchise ever made i wish they could revive for 3rd season i'll be so much excited
i friggin loved the looney tunes shows sadly not many others did but i did
Correction: Witch Hazel
Omg we need the old days
On with the show. Oh snap!
I honestly love bugs as he is depicted in the looney toons show
Looney Tunes is so funny, I remember the Looney Tunes Show when I was younger although I didn't watch a lot of episodes of it, and I've been a huge fangirl of Wabbit since it first came out although it's quite a shame that it's hard to find new episodes of the show unless they'd be leaked online and whatever :)
I..."tried" to swallow this tripe, but to no avail. This variation of MUCH better done Looney Tunes character is a crime against themselves! I watched while slowly cringing and decided that this was a hardcore E-C-W- style pass, this series just made me love the original shorts by more leaps and bounds. I gave the THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW(this version) for X Mas gifts to those I didn't like and SURPRISE.....they all returned them back to me,not even as gifts were they liked.
If Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone also worked on recent Tom and Jerry cartoons, there's no reason a crossover between the two can't happen
Who likes NEW LOONEY TUNES with woo-oo daffy? Who likes Sylvester and Tweety appearing more than Tasmanian Devil?
But isn't 'Wabbit' the most recent Looney Tunes show?
NintenGaming omg I forgot about that
Did anyone notice at 4:25 ,Bugs has a picture of his rabbit hole from Looney Tunes? :O
I like the The Looney Tunes Show because of the adult jokes and possible memes. Plus the Merrie Melodies were awesome. 😂
"daffy & bugs were originally rivals"
okay time to start a comment chain... D U C K S E A S O N
Blue-furred dog season.
...Well sh*t.
They have not always been rivals. In 1943, they were friends.
Abdullahi B you're just triggered that it's duck season
12DAMDO I'm not triggered. I'm just providing animation.
Abdullahi B don worry, it was a joke
you should've changed it into rabbit season
I enjoy the Looney tunes no matter what. They are hard to mess with and the looney tunes are one of the cartoon series I enjoy watching.
No matter what anybody says about The Looney Tunes Show, the originals will always be better.
At first, I was adverse to the looney Toons Show but watch one great episode and was hooked. I don't think it hurts the Bugs Bunny Show to have both playing on our TVs.
I thought the show was hilarious I wasn't happy when I found out it was cancelled
HEY! Loonatics Unleashed was an AMAZING show! Do you know how many times I've rewatched it? Way too many times
Do you remember fun? You know, that thing we’re not allowed to have anymore?
i wish marvin appeared more :c
he's my favorite character ;-;
Since 1980 he had made he had made more appearances
They even rebooted *BIG CHUNGUS*
When I think of Looney Tunes, I think of those old cartoons. The new ones doesn't need to exist, in my opinion.
w-what I didn't know the Looney tunes show was cancelled I really really like it D: I remember just listenings to their short musics
I really enjoyed the Looney Toons show! It was a really fresh approa h. Situational comedy can get boring quickly.
I've yet to watch the newer versions. I actually enjoy the shorts. Mostly from the 60s, or around then. The really old ones are cool to watch every now and then, as well.
Regular Show: Then vs. Now. Regular Show was heavily more for adults in its early episodes, especially with the 2 in the AM PM short
I see you've allready covered looney tunes in terms of then vs now but with that being said could you consider making videos for animaniacs and sesame street please I'd love to see that a lot definitely for sure
Edit (5/22/22): it’s probably great even though I haven’t seen it much
What’s up doc!
Here we go with more news
Their both good it's just that the original is some of the best slapstick while the new show was plot focused serving two different audiences
It seems like no one know "WABBIT"
Can anyone tell me where I can watch the episode mentioned in 3:47 ? I've searched everywhere.
The Looney Toons Show was cancelled?!
I'm slightly depressed now. 😕
Why didn't Baby Looney Tunes get a mention in this? Even though it didn't, this was still a good video. Good job.
Who here likes duck Rogers
dodgers
1:38 I miss Loonatics Unleashed!. That was a cool and funny show
Does this show even still air...? Haven't heard from it for years now...
Damn.. by the end I was already sold on it and then you dropped the it's cancelled news. Well, I can't blame the messenger. I'm still gonna check it out. It sound good for the most part... except what they did to Taz and Lola.
I like the loony tune show ithe original classics just for different reasons
Question: Does anyone remember the series where they were all babies, or the series Tiny Toons, where they were all teachers?
Both are good. I’d watch new episodes
10:55 Except for episodes 16-19 and 23-present (Including Season 2 which was renamed New Looney Tunes) which are and now on Boomerang.
cool video****
