That’s my main issue with OP. It’s so long that fan fav characters go years without any screen time. That really kills any connection/hype. Darn near 1000 eps & we still don’t know anything about Shanks ffs. 🤦♂️

Kid was shown using his powers in the movie this year. Before that he used his powers right before the timeskip. That can't he 10 years.

Kidd has potential to be a decent character we proved it when he cried for killer and his crew , that scene was emotional af , kidd a prideful guy who is ruthless crying for what they did to killer.

As for kaido he will be defeated but not by luffy most likely shanks will join the war and also Black beard and in this arc shanks will die .
This way the author will be a step closer to end the story.

Think about what this TRULY means in regards to his power. It took Big Mom three whole, although casual, bashes to take down that gate. Kid does it in one, although strained, hit. That's huge.
Luckily it isn't canon or we might get in trrouble power scaling them properly ^^
Luffy and kidd the only supernovas with vice captains that are also supernovas. That’s one hell of a feat. Even oda said It himself, that he only wanted to introduce kidd at sabaody, but ended up changing his mind
Im all Luffy fan and all that but i legitimately would like Kid to be a true rival to him and not just a comedic relief, kinda how Roger and Whitebeard were frienemies. Its not that Kid has a bad personality or anything, they just have different agendas.

@@adamfrost8313 the gates were made of iron, Big Mom ripped one off a few episodes earlier. besides that, even if it had sea prism in it that doesn't mean Kid's powers can't affect it, just that he can't touch it without getting weakened.

Kid takes less than 1 minute to make it outside and destroy the gate.
Big Mom takes 1.5 episodes to make it inside and destroy the gates.
